Though this may not be your Copa Cabana sort of beach, Coqueiral Beach offers a long stretch of brown sandy beach. I took a jog along the somewhat pristine beach and I hardly saw anyone there, other than one other jogger and another couple who was taking a stroll.
The water was calm as it was located in a bay with the town Santa Cruz being on the other side of the bay.

Its a family beach turn of the week. The water is kind cold, but I like it. Its good to practice stand up paddle, and in a also to surf. It has an end to end boardwalk to run, skate, bike and also sit enjoying the scenery.

Há um pequeno espaço entre pedras no qual crianças podem brincar e se divertir muito. Forma uma espécie de piscina. Tem caranguejos pequenos, espaço para banho e de vez em quando vista de tartarugas.

Ótima localização, fácil acesso. Atendimento bom. Conta com um grande supermercado com excelente qualidade e variedades nos produtos. Excelente praça de alimentação com musica ao vivo durante o final de semana, ambiente aconchegante. Lojas diversificadas e de qualidade atendendo a todas as idades.

Infelizmente, como geralmente acontece com as igrejas católicas, elas estão fechadas, impedindo os visitantes de conhecer o seu interior. Mas. por fora a Igreja, localizada na praça central de Santa Cruz, é muito bonita. A sua construção foi iniciada no ano de 1841, tendo passado por várias reformas. É tombada pelo Conselho Estadual de Cultura.

Muito bonito, porem lembrando que é um lugar onde se tem pouco movimento, por causa de algumas dificuldades do local, como infraestrutura, ruas de barro, não localizei quiosque nem lugar para refeições, um lugar onde e realmente o que predomina e o contato com a natureza, a brisa do mar, e o barulho das pequenas ondas, famílias com certeza irá adorar, pode deixar o teus filhos soltos sossegados. ideal. indico com certeza, lugar de paz.
