Enjoyed seeing the 3D video presentation of the fishes in the area. Beautiful scenery. The Castle looks big from the outside but inside the building it is small.

My husband and I had our wedding in this church. Everything was really beautiful and well-arranged. The surroundings are amazing, you can really find your inner peace there. I highly recommend this beautiful church, which by the way, it is my favorite in Japan.

Siege at Hara Castle during Shimabara Rebellion in 1936. No castle, just ruins now. Very scary if you visit here during the night. If it is a beautiful day, it is great view to overlook Ariake sea.

国道324号線を走っていると道路沿いに『おっぱい岩』の看板があり、どうしても男の悲しい性なのでしょうか気になっていつも探してしまいます。満潮時は隠れてしまうので、タイミングが合わないと見る事が出来ません。また駐車スペースがあまり広くないので、車を停めてじっくり観察する事も憚られます。今回たまたま車を停めて観察出来ましたが、まじまじと見ると本当にふくよかなおっぱいでした。自然の力とは言えお見事！

Easily accessible from Kumamoto by road. Beautiful landscape and backwaters and the views from the Bridge is wonderful . One can enjoy the boat ride and see the Dolphins. Alternatively , the Marine world aquarium will also house all varieties of fishes and water plants and while moving inside the aquarium , one gets a feeling that you are diving inside the sea . Wonderful experience and antique ships at site make a good experience . Recommended.

富岡城の敷地内なので、天草や富岡城の歴史についての情報かと思っていたが、周辺の地形の成り立ちやその自然環境的な特殊性やそこに生きる生き物の絶滅可能性（干潟に生きる貝類など）などにも触れていてかなり面白かった。そして、外に出るとそうした地形が半島の丘の上から俯瞰できるのだから分かりやすい。

Not a big museum but well thought out with clear illustrations, some original objects and others enlarged reproductions (a screen painting of a complex battle of the Amakusa-Shimabara Rebellion). Little of the titling, captions, or text, however, is in English. There is an English-language version of a video re-telling the history of Christians here, from the coming of the Jesuit missionaries in the 16th century, through the banning of Christianity from 1600, to its re-emergence in the late 19th century. Some statues, archaeological finds, many texts (scrolls and books) in Japanese. The museum sits on a hill above the main part of town (Hondo). Walkable down, past a local, well-kept cemetery. I would take a cab up.

百亜の外観が美しい大江天守堂のすぐ近くにある天草地方のキリシタンに関わる品々を展示した資料館です。
多くの展示品からは、江戸時代のキリシタン禁教令のもと、幕府による厳しい監視と弾圧に耐えながら信仰を守り続けた当時の人々の熱い信仰心が見る者に伝わってきます。
特に興味を引いたのが民家の屋根裏部屋のような所で人目を避けながら祈りをささげていたという「かくれ部屋」です。
実物大の模型と祈りの声が再現されているのですが、洞窟などではなく民家の屋根裏でひっそりとこのように信仰がなされていた史実には驚きました。
このほか、天草地方における隠れキリシタンの歴史を３Ｄ立体映像で紹介されており、非常にわかりやすくまとめられていると思いました。１０分程の上映時間だったと思いますが、ここを訪問したらぜひとも視聴されることをお勧めいたします。
大江天主堂とあわせて見学したい施設ですが、それにしても周辺には「天草コレジョオ館」や「天草キリシタン館」などといった似たような名称の施設が多く、混同してしまうのは私だけでしょうか。
