while you are staying near Hechingen, or the City of Balingen or close to the City of Albstadt you may want to do some hiking in this beautiful landscape, following the edge of the Mountains of the Alb, a little mountain range dividing the the valley of the River Neckar, an inlet of river Rhine, and the valley of River Danube. Es ist toll, dass man in Albstadt ein Naturfreibad gebaut hat, eingebettet zwischen den umliegenden Hügeln der schwäbischen Alb - der Zollernalb um genau zu sein.
Wir waren knapp eine Stunde unterwegs und würden auch wiederkommen!
Das naturbad ist äußerst sauber, verfügt über ein vermutlich 50 langes Becken mit Verzweigungen und einem Sprungfelsen. Als wir im August dort waren hatte das Wasser nur 22°, was aber bei mehr als 30° Außentemperatur sehr angenehm erfrischend war.
Trotz Wochenende und strahlendem Sonnenschein kam es uns nicht überfüllt vor. Die Liegewiese ist sehr weitläufig, sodass sich die Gäste gut verteilen.
Um das Becken herum gibt es nicht viele Schattenplätze, sodass es sich empfiehlt einen Sonnenschirm mitzubringen oder auszuleihen.
