This restaurant was an accident find on a rainy day. It doesn't look like much because it's a tiny little run-down place just after the horse stables. They have very few seats and sometimes people have to share a table. The restaurant serves up some of the most delicious food I've ever had in Darjeeling. It's run by a local Tibetan family that provides you with homely, friendly service. No matter how much food you order, it will be a herculean task for you to get to even 200 rupees because the food is so inexpensive!! We ate and ate to our fill each time and yet could never cross the 200 rupee mark each time! They serve a large variety of food, starting from huge sausages, to gyathup, to burgers, tibetan bread to beef thukpa, momos, and their omelettes are so juicy and delicious that we had to keep ordering repeats each time! This is definitely one of the most unsung eating joints but the food there will keep bringing you back for more. Give it a try the next time you visit Darjeeling!

A good homely restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Food quality is good. Quantity is sufficient. Staff is so full of warmth. Quite easy on the pockets. The cheese sandwich is just awesome. So is the chicken platter.

We had stayed in Summit Yasashree in December 2016 for 4 nights and had dinner every day. The continental dish was too good. Indian cuisine was also good. We had lunch one day. Thukpa was great and the quantity was good. We also had samu dashi, Bhutanese dish, which was also good. Overall the restaurant serves good food. The highlight is the restaurant staff.
