It was winter of 2016 when we went to Darjeeling Trip. We wanted to taste authentic momos and what could be the best place other than darjeeling for it?We did a google search and came across Chopstix Restaurant. Situated just in the main Old Supermarket. You can get yourself to the Motor Stand and can see this restaurant.It might get hidden as all structures around there look similar.It is estd somewhere in 1950s.We went to first floor and since we were strict veggies and it was early morning - we ordered some Veg Steam Momo and Veg Momo Chilly along with Manchow soup.Taste wise : 100% pure Chinese And cost wise it was damn cheap. They charged some 80/- per plate and total bill cost was around 350/-This is our MUST GO place when we come again to Darjeeling.Staff was courteous and the owner was great. He made us really feel good.4/5 Stars for this great restaurant.

We went two consecutive days to this place, I was recommended by my colleague to try Momos and Nepali thali here.First day we had Momos and Thupka, both were very good but a lady (I guess the owner) was continuously fiddling with her âiPhone Xâ and was not bothered to take care or feedback from the customers.Second day I ordered for a Nepali Pork Thali, one big plate with assorted pickle were placed in front of without explaining the use of it, later the food arrived, same was also dumped without any explanation, I didnât know how to start as it was an unknown cuisine, somehow I managed. I didnât even know wether dishes will be repeated or not, almost when we were through the attendant came and offered rice which had just no meaning to it.If the overall attitude changes this place can really do wonders.

i visited the place on 22 Jul 18... the tried the chicken noodles and chilly pork... a well prepared dish.... very tasty. The staff is polite and the lady running it - Priyanka...looks into details of the the order given...which adds to the personal touch. Service is also fast and overall a wonderful experience and tasty food joint

A bunch of us went to Darjeeling for hiking. We are also foodies and love trying new cuisines. One of our best finds was Dekevas Restaurant - authentic Tibetan food is served here. The restaurant is small but the food is awesome and very reasonably priced. The food is prepared fresh so the service may take time. I would highly recommend you to try Gyathuk (Thukpa) and Veg Momos.

Its a tiny place offering good food at a very reasonable price.The lady who supervises the place is so full of warmth.People are made to feel comfortable and at home.We tried out the commonly eaten Bengali dishes and they were excellent!!

We had lunch here during our stay in Darjeeling, sadly we discover it some days before leaving otherwise we will had lucnh here every day. Delicious and abundant food with kind and friendly service. Very clean and familiar place. We will be back for sure. We loved the veg fried rolls and the lemon tea with honey, and the veg momos are delicious. Thank you very much for the tender and care with which you cook.
