Reviewed By 563mathiassFamily run, friendly staff & excellent value. I had a single room at €79 per night including breakfast. Free WiFi, free parking. Nice breakfast buffet. The rooms are spacious enough & that part of the village is very quite. The place must have been revamped looking at comments before 2019. A very good restaurant is attached. I can recommend.

Reviewed By Guido RSauberes, inhabergeführtes Hotel garni mit großen Räumen, ca. 4 km östlich von Wegberg an einer Kreisstrasse gelegen. Zur Straße hin etwas laut, aber nach hinten ruhiger. Parkplätze und Wlan vorhanden. Sehr gemütlicher Frühstücksraum. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis: sehr gut.

Reviewed By EnricoJyess2014Booked on recommendation. It would appear that this is now a one man show and it was the worst experience ever. Only respect for our German friends also staying 2 of our 3 nights who did not want to go elsewhere to avoid rocking the boat kept us there and with the exception of the breakfast, it was like a bad dream/episode of the twilight zone. Hardly any lighting in the room, (one bedside lamp and a night light in the ceiling light) ONE tiny bath towel between 2 adults for 3 days that was not changed nor added to despite two requests for more towels - no toiletries, facilities, glasses, water, tea/coffee facilities (in the room or otherwise) and the owner's incessant smoking that even penetrated our clothes in the suit cases. ice for an asthmatic in our party - NOT. It looked closed down and the guy running things was not forthcoming in making us feel welcome or wanted. He wore the same tatty clothes for the three nights and our last morning and looked like he had never seen his own shower, mirror or a hair brush. An absolute shocker of an experience and one never encountered before in Germany, a country I have spent many years in both as a youth and working as an adult. We were travelling with Australian friends and we were so embarrassed, having booked this on their behalf too. Never again and I genuinely can't see this continuing to operate for much longer based on our observation and experience. A tatty, run down and poorly presented, smoke-filled ashtray just about sums it up. The only kind thing I can say is that the breakfasts were good. If we had paid 30 Euro per night, I would still not have considered it good value. it was as i imagined a gulag!
