Reviewed By KaYnGeezGreat stay at a super sweet hotel! We had the "yellow" room downstairs and other family members got the "Japanese" room upstairs. Both were very nice. I would recommend the room downstairs next to reception with an extra bed for young children. The room upstairs has a cool attic but the staircase is definitely not safe for youngsters.

Beautiful hotel
Reviewed By AbelWeiWe booked it last minute for a night and we were surprised by the scenery. The castle is beautifully surrounded by water. The actual hotel is next to the castle. Consists of several small houses. They are all renovated and updated inside. Each room is named after a person (I think who has lived in the castle in the past). The breakfast is well taken cared of. A continental breakfast of ham, cheese, jam, bread and scrambled eggs.

WORST deal airporthotel. By FAR
Reviewed By bryancentenJust avoid flying from Weeze in the first place. The city is ridiculously tiny, FAR away from the hotel and had TWO operating restaurants when we visited. This hotel is one of the worst I’ve ever stayed at by FAR. There’s no reception - instead, a machine that looks like an ATM that you get your card from. It doesn’t even let you type in your name because the keys don’t work. There’s absolutely NOTHING to do or see within a 1 hour walking radius, and there is ONE hourly bus to the center (which sometimes doesn’t show up). They say they have an “airport shuttle”? Well, it runs from 5 to 9AM, and 8 to 11PM. We had a flight at 1pm, so we ended up having to carry our luggage up a cliff. Again, there is NO hotel representative anywhere near the hotel. NO restaurant, only a joke of a small room to buy some crisps and coffee. Deppressing, abandoned, in the middle of nowhere - please steer clear of Weeze and this hotel. We have never met so many unfriendly people in one town at a time. I’ll feel sorry for you if you book a night at this hotel.

And the real gem in this story is Joost, the guy that works there. He did everything possible to help me out, and went above and beyond to make my stay pleasant. Customer service beyond imaginable, thanks to Joost! If I ever get a chance to be in Weeze again, I'll sure be visiting Hotel Jägerhof. Once again, THANK YOU Joost, you're the most amazing person I've ever had the pleasure to meet.

Reviewed By terrygparrottI stayed one night as I worked in the area in the 70's, so a nostalgia trip. Rooms are a bit dated but good enough for a couple of nights. Very good price and excellent food both evening meal and breakfast. The info states Public Parking on site, but there isn't any just public free street parking.
