Very clean, convenient and helpful
Reviewed By fishface4We needed accommodation at very short notice, and Walsroder Hof were very helpful. The rooms were very spacious and clean, with everything we needed, and the hotel is very centrally located. Breakfast was fine, a good selection of breads, meats and cheeses plus egg and sausage. Reception were happy to print our boarding-passes for our flights when we left, which was a big help.

Reviewed By SarenatrinityThe room was of basic but satisfactory and the staff were helpful at times. Could have been a bit more cleaner but overall we enjoyed our trip. Location and service are what one is looking for. The restaurant is very good and there is ample outdoor eating space when the weather is suitable. The breakfast is excellent. The downtown location is perfectly suited as a central business location, but close by the major park for a safe run route. All this for a very competitive price.

Reviewed By Daniel19721972The reception desk was friendly and helpful the room is not so big, rather old fashioned but clean, saame for the bathroom. the roomwalls aren't that thick, so you can hear the neighboors but it was quiet during the night the breakfast is 100m by food in anther building, but it is the walk trip more than worth fresh and tasty ingrediends, fresh baked bread, good coffee, all you need for a good daily start, thanks to the breakfast it gets a 4 star quotation

Reviewed By Gisa GThe Forellenhof has grown over the many years I visited and is meanwhile a quite large hotel for events. The Restaurant: features not only the signature trout dishes from their own pond, but meanwhile also offers their own delishious beer: "Schnuckenbräu". Local and seasonal dishes can also be recomended. Rooms: have recently been renovated.

Reviewed By John BWe were visiting friends in Walsrode and as they pointed out there are not too many things going on there (although we saw there was a large bird park), but they booked us into the Landhaus Walsrode, and we could not have been happier. From the friendly welcome from the owner and her family through to one of the best German breakfasts ever, via a comfortable and immaculately clean room, we could not have been better served - and all at a sensible price. We could not have asked for more. As my German friends would say, truly "ausgezeichnet".

Reviewed By peterww2013This rather small hotel is located just meters away from the local golf club and walking paths invite for hours of silent pleasure. Hotel rooms are sober but cosy and offer the comfort of a good sleep. Breakfast is simple but again all you need - not the spoiling luxury of a buffet but just the roll and cheese and meat that are typical to a german breakfast. Unfortunately the hotel did not offer any service (drinks) after 20:30hrs hence a 30 minute walk to the nearest Greek restaurant was needed to get a beer for the evening.
