Hotel Xatky Ruslany and Restaurant Donechky is situated in the heart of the Carpathian Mountains, 12km. from Hoverla, tallest mountain in Ukraine, a hiker's paradise and 17 km. from Bukovel, Ukraine's state of the art ski resort. Each of the 6 chalets is uniquely and luxuriously decorated with antiques, has fireplaces, 2 full baths, and sleeps up to eight. Old world charm abounds with modern amenities. Breakfast included, free wifi, attentive service and Ukrainian fusion food in our restaurant. The chalets can be rented by fully (sleeps up to 8), by floor (sleeps up to 4) or by number of individuals. Prices vary depending on the season.
Unique place for those who love art and authenticity
Reviewed By Compass56851907927A place for those who love art, Ukrainian traditional old handmade, authenticity. It is not “just a hotel” - it’s a cozy unique place with extremely friendly staff. The huts are wonderfully decorated with true authentic large and small items that go well extremely well and make it wholesome. Though the hotel is not new, it was initially stuffed with high quality equipment and furniture, so it still looks and works perfectly. The swimming pool is heated (which is great in the mountainous area where the temperatures are often much lower at nights even on the hottest days), but it is most appropriate for children since it’s small and around 1 meter deep only. The restaurant in place is also unique, both in terms of authentic items inside, amazing paintings, ceramics and woodwork by local artists, as well as in terms of cuisine. The menu includes several dishes with maple syrup, which is unusual option for the area. The dishes are great both in taste and in serving. Fantastic local specialty- sauce “Ruslana” served with steaks. Very good plate of local cheeses.

Reviewed By Георгій БWe have trakking with friend's across Carpathians and we shoud to wait our departure from Vorokhta. We find this fine place for one night, and was good impressed. New bath, good beds, fine interier and tasty breakfast. Friendly staff. (Photo in restaurant)

Reviewed By Udod_Igor· - шикарная территория, красиво, ухожено - есть места для пикника, мангал, дрова и все приспособления можно бесплатно брать - номер большой, комфортный - вид из окна открывается превосходный - есть кафе, есть чаны, можно взять любую экскурсию - возможно заказать завтрак - хорошая скорость WI-FI даже на улице Не понравилось · - не самый легкий подъем к отелю будет после дождя - нет указателей по пути, когда поднимешься есть несколько развилок, и можно пойти не туда (maps.me будет только в помощь) - горячей воды не было - радиаторы и холодильник были внешне просто в ужасном состоянии

Отличный отель для большой компании

На первом этаже зона отдыха, столовая с кухней и баня, в которую отправились прямо с дороги. К тому же на улице есть чаны, что вместе оставило массу положительных эмоций. На втором и третьем этаже номера, где разместились всей большой компанией. Сервировали завтрак и ужин по нашему заказу, все домашнее и вкусное.

Well looked after, clean and comfortable
Reviewed By bonvoyageadventureI did a solo trip down to the Carpathians. It was in March, when the ski season was finishing off but the hiking season was not yet in full swing. The accommodation was therefore not busy. Even so, I was well looked after and had a great time. My room on the 3rd floor was gorgeous with some sun and a good view. Food was good. Hosts are friendly and even though English wasn't their first language, they made a friendly effort we managed to communicate!

Reviewed By Oleksa ZStayed there for a couple of days. Strong wooden houses, rooms are nice big and clean. Comfortable beds. Fireplace in the room. Didn't like cooking at all. Medium raw cheese balls (syrnyky), over-fried and over-oiled eggs with mayonnaise were some special. Place is good in terms of nature: mountain river nearby. Although it's on a starting check-point of a popular route to Goverla, so a bit busy and noisy sometimes. Service is so-so. Personnel are helpful and good as people, but slow and forgetful at the same time.

Reviewed By dmitrolWe stopped in May to walk in the mountains. The hotel is located near the train station and the market in the center of Vorokhta. Trains pass nearby, but only a few times a day and it does not interfere. There are many cafes and shops nearby. The interior is simple but clean and tidy. The owners are very hospitable, they can tell on the routes. You can order breakfast, are satisfied

Reviewed By kirstyelaineeThe staff here do not speak any English, however we had a fantastic stay! The owner did her upmost to help us feel comfortable and to organise taxis and day trips for us. We used a lot of google translate. We felt very comfortable here despite no English. The facilities are fantastic and it’s a great place to stay for a few days! Highly recommended!
