Vereeniging (Afrikaans pronunciation: [fəˈrɪənəχəŋ]) is a city in Gauteng province, South Africa, situated where the Klip River empties into the northern loop of the Vaal River. It is also one of the constituent parts of the Vaal Triangle region and was formerly situated in the Transvaal province. The name Vereeniging is derived from the Dutch word meaning "association" or "union".

It's their 20th anniversary and that alone must be an indication of happy customers. Prompt service, no long delays awaiting your freshly and well pre-paired food. We enjoyed the prawns special (running for the month of September). Kids eat free before 17:00. Not noisy as other restaurants, you could actually comfortably have a conversation at the table. Desserts were also very good. Secure parking.

Four of us for dinner at this high end restaurant just off the casino floor inside - which by the way has undergone some good improvements recently. Restaurant is fine dining establishment with the food and wine well presented. Quality was excellent with the steaks in particular right up there.

Haven’t been to Anna’s Kitchen since February of this year and decided to stop for lunch on my way back to Johannesburg. Again all expectations exceeded. Superb variety of food on offer during their Sunday lunch carvery. Stunning setting, excellent food, fantastic waiters. Keep it up team!

We were 6 people who went to supper. We all ordered different items but our steaks - a fillet and a T-bone - were amazing!

Stopped for brunch. In the past the menu was exiting with lots of interesting items. Now rather boring and the new item I wanted to try, was not available. Rather go to Mugg & Bean

Me and my husband are on a business trip to Vereeniging today, and decided to lunch at Maverick spur. The waiter was friendly and that's about it. The baked potato with our steak was so dry and after receiving our food our waiter was gone. Not once came back to ask if everything was okay, we finished eating and did not receive a bill. At the paypoint the cashier helped people behind us first and still our waiter was gone and we are standing and waiting, no bill. Then the other waiter asked her to print our bill and I took the card machine from the counter and started helping myself as we are going to be late for our appointment. The cashier is only worried about answering the phone. The waiter that helped us, showed up after we paid and was leaving the Spur. Won't visit them again.

In short, the staff aren't at all friendly and would rather ignore you than serve you and you pay too much for a poor quality product. I'm not sure how this place survives.

Fandangos has always been a favorite of mine, probably more the bar area and their great pizza. I expected their restaurant area to be a little better. Service was great, however their +\- R 500 seafood platter was disappointing. The prawns weren't clean properly and platter lacked passion. The restaurant is beautiful and staff friendly, I sincerely hope they get their food back up to par.

This is the third time I visit this mimmos at riversquare shopping center. Service was ok. We had a table inside. My friends had the fettucini alfredo plate and they were happy. I was very conservative and ordered the mixed green salad. It was average.The tab was moderate. Last resort if all other options are closed.

We visit the restaurant on a regular basis, and have rarely been disappointed.
We've tried a variety of dishes, all well prepared, especially enjoy the steaks. Wine prices are on the steep side.
Kitchen doesn't close in the afternoon making it very convenient for a late lunch.
