Reviewed By VeganlyfeRooms were clean and nice. Breakfast was good and the food in the restaurant in general. But the most amazing thing in this place was truly the service! The staff was extra friendly, and went out of their way to make everything easy and comfortable for us! For example one of the owners drove us from our first hotel to Valz so we wouldn't have to walk with our luggage! Every one working in this hotel is an amazing person. They made the atmosphere so friendly that all the customers also said hello to us. There is no better place to spend your holiday than in hotel Valz ❤

Reviewed By AvisUtileBonne piscine, espace très grand avec de beaux toboggans. L’eau de la piscine est à une bonne température. Infirmier très réactif en cas de blessure, sécurisé. Le point négatif : nourriture trop chère au bar, pas beaucoup de toboggans pour l’espace qu’il y a (4 toboggans a sensation) puis des toboggans enfant. Tu t’ennuie assez vite ici..

Reviewed By loveiseveryoneThe staff and management took care of us in a very personal way and it was sad leaving after such a pleasurable time there. The food was plentiful, healthy and fresh. Every need was accommodated for. Drinks were cheap and the beer was beautifully cold! The pool is lovely and the surrounding is pretty. Music is played throughout. Rooms had everything we needed, were cleaned to an exceptional standard and the hotel was very secure. Beach and restaurants are a 5-10 min walk away and, again, everyone is extremely friendly. Pros: Everything Cons: Please play less Ed Sheeran! To the excellent staff and management- Faleminderit! I have already recommended Hotel Athina to family and friends. 100% Recommend

Great atmosphere
Reviewed By fatjonh2020We were one night in Velipoja with my family, and booked at Godija Hotel & Suites. Price & Quality is worth it. They offered us a bigger suite (with the same price) because they were about to close as the season is finishing there. A special thank you to Jolanda, who was really kind and very humble. That’s part of our albanian hospitality (that tourists hear about) and it’s always a great feeling when you prove it constantly, it makes you feel home. Faleminderit!

Reviewed By 422anisapis located in the center of Velipoja and may be the most suitable place to sleep if you want to spend a few days at Velipoja beach. all that is close to the entertainment centers is the loneliness, which is unlikely to be found near a club or a place for young people to enjoy music until the wee hours of the morning.

Reviewed By Preston DI was at bora bora in August 2018 and i really enjoyed the peaceful atmosfere there. The rooms are big clean and very comfortable. The beach is very near and the sea is beautiful. It has the perfect position for those that a call 'good holidays'. Thank you Paulo and all the staff

Минусы: - не первая пляжная линия, около 8 минут быстрой ходьбы к пляжу через пустырь; - на мини-кухне мало посуды для самостоятельного приготовления пищи; - плохой слив води в канализацию; - уборка только по запросу, но постель не меняют, а полотенца сменили только посте того, как использованные сложили на пол; - косметические средства не пополняют; - номер заявлен как пятиместный, но для пятого человека спальное место не пригодно для полноценного отдыха.

Reviewed By 92erliscThe hotel offers quality service and the hosts are friendly. Food is delicious and much cheaper than in the restaurants nearby, they should think about dinner too. Free bikes to visit the area and the park were our best surprise and on top of that plenty of choices for water sports activities.

Reviewed By 357andrabThere are so many things to be said, I hope I can describe this as accurately as possible. So we arrived at the hotel in the evening, checked in, everything ok so far. I asked the receptionist when do we pay and if we can pay with credit card because I saw no sticker on the door. He told us we can pay only cash and there is an ATM down the street if we needed. This was a bit of a shock since we explicitly booked through booking, where I guaranteed our stay with my credit card. I never thought we cannot use it to pay. Since we did not have that amount and it would cost us a bundle in taxes to withdraw in a nonEU country, I asked the only English speaking person, who also translated later on, to please ask if we could change our booking from 7 to 5 nights because we had the amount in cash on us. Without asking anyone he immediately said that is not possible. I then replied we will think about it and if not I will send a request to modify through booking. The next morning at breakfast the same employee tells us, the boss would like to speak with us about what we asked last night. The boss then basicly starts talking, in Albanian, of course, and the employee translates, and I quote: "we are in Albania, we make our own rules here, you have no say. You either stay the 7 nights you booked and pay the whole amount in cash today or you go right now and pay two nights." Finnaly we said, fine, we'll pay the two nights and leave first thing in the morning. Which would only have been fair since we paid. He then replied :" no, you pay two nights but leave now. You have 1 hour to decide. " Of course we decided to leave, who wouldn't. After we payed he called booking and basically didn't open the door for us to leave with our car until he made sure I didn't file a complaint. I would also like to add we traveled with four children and were literally afraid to stay any longer. We payed 504€ for literally 16 hours tops. Shame on this person and on booking for allowing him to change our reservation and believing every lie he said. After he basically threw us out without a word, he then sends me a message on booking saying I threatened his employee with a bad review if he does not change our reservation and that is why he did not offer any alternative, which is an utterly ridiculous lie. Of course he will now say a bunch of lies but the fact is, everything is OK here as long as you shut up. The minute you ask for something or complain about anything, you're screwed..
