Great value hotel
Reviewed By Tania NVelden has a picturesque setting and many expensive hotels. We were looking for mid range and found Rocket rooms. Situated fairly central, not far to the casino and bars. Room was small but spotlessly clean, new and a large comfy bed. Sabina, the lady in the resteraunt, was really friendly & helpful, told us what was on in Velden and how to get about and what to see. Breakfast was continental and available till 11. We really enjoyed our stay at Rocket Rooms and would comeback again and again. Great value for money!

Great dissatisfaction with this hotel - not recommended
Reviewed By Filip KWe arrived with my wife and 3 small children in this hotel after checking the availability of 2 rooms (max. Occupancy of one room was 2 +1) because larger rooms were occupied. With this we came to the hotel reception that we want to stay. However, I still do not understand what happened. The staff was very uncomfortable, slowly throwing us away that they have no rooms available and let's go somewhere else! With this approach at the hotel for several thousand. EUR per stay I have never met in my life - terrible. So we checked once again whether they had free rooms and they really had them available, but I would never force the staff to stay with them. Very negative experience - unfortunately.

Only prices are a little to high for what they offer but hey i guess location is what is worth to pay?? friendly stuff.

Small & fine, family-runned, hotel in the heart of Velden, quiet location. All rooms and suites are freshly renovated and high standard. Guests can enjoy free parking at the hotel, free admission to the beautiful Velden bathing beach (including sun loungers, umbrellas, bathing bag and beach towels), free WLAN and a nice garden, as well as an excellent breakfast buffet with organic products and in-house products from the familiy owned premium butchery (daily from 7am to 11am)

Reviewed By Lionheart1261Very nice small family hotel in Velden. Steps away from the Casino, where I attended a congress. Parking facilities available, very nice quiet and ample room. Bathroom with all amenities available, and a nice pretty duck for your bath...just in case you left your own at home! You can stroll from hotel into the lake promenade in 3 minutes. Very good breakfast, excellent timing from early morning onwards, so to get up early and then have the full day well fit! Reception will be open from 8 am in the morning, if you have a early departure make sure to settle the bill the night before. Flawless wifi, excellent hospitality, anytime soon again!

My wife and I stayed at the Schonblick for a fortnight in late May early June and were treated like old friends even though it was our first visit. From the greeting on our arrival to Rene's farewell at Velden railway station everyone was helpfulness personified.Our room ,and the hotel, was kept scrupulously clean, the bed very comfortable. Austrian cuisine abounded at both breakfast and dinner time impeccably served by, among others, Claudia, Naomi, David and Roberto. In fact ,with their individual personalities, meal times were all the more enjoyable.Thoroughly recommended.

Reviewed By sailaway2015Professional and friendly staff. Rooms with small balcony to the mainstreet are a bit noisy i.e. traffic from the mainstreet but also from the disco & clubs. But there are quiet rooms available. Breakfast starts for early birds at 06:00 and the buffet is great and offers food for every taste.

Reviewed By Ron DHotel Vinzenz is a very sympatic family hotel, si not huge, and that is good. It is located 4km from Velden. You can go from hotel to Velden and back, on foot, there is walkway all way long to the center of Velden. Rooms are large and with wide balcony. Absolutely everything was very clean. Stuff and owners was helpfull and nice. Beach is just across the road, with grass, some trees, sunbeds and umbrellas. Cheers!

Their staff were very friendly and assisted, but there were a lot of detail which did not contribute to a relaxing holiday. Unfortunately, what spoiled our holiday was accommodation. When I forget that the room was a dark dungeon and every early morning we were woken up by the trucks that supplied the hotel . The double room in which we were accommodated (room number 9) did not contribute much to the holiday well-being. The first two days the air conditioning did not work, the third day the wall plugs in the bathroom did not work. The non-functioning of the plugs was subsequently resolved very strangely. Every time we wanted to use the plugs in the bathroom and in the room, we had to turn on the light. When we drew the hotel's attention to the above, he was unwilling to accept our complaint and did not offer us any compensation. Also, the presentation of the hotel is a bit misleading and does not provide accurate information. Example: the hotel is not by the lake, it does not offer 10 mountain bikes, as stated in the offer, etc.
