The ibis Styles Vechta offers 78 comfortable rooms with box-spring beds for sublime sleeping comfort, in-room safes, panorama windows with seats and 55° multimedia flatscreen TVs. Our Italian restaurant, Da Sergio, invites guests who appreciate wining and dining in a cosy atmosphere to enjoy at their leisure. Relax in our stylish Paddock bar with drinks and snacks after a strenuous day.

Reviewed By chn78We (all business travellers) booked the hotel because of its location; centrally located and still reachable by car. However, this was definitively my last stay at Ibis Styles Vechta! When we arrived in the afternoon, we were told that any meeting in the lobby - even for business purpposes, without any food and beverages on a huge table, where distance keeping according to COVID regulations would be easy because of its size/space - is not possible. The staff neither referenced a regulation that justifies their decision nor did they offer any alternative, although we explained our needs as business travellers. They said it's due to COVID, but to my understanding it's implemented in order to save money (e.g. for housekeeping). The strict 'hygine policy' they claimed was very much jeopardized by the situation in my room: I found long hair in my shower and peanuts on the floor; both from previous guests in that room. You are invited to make your own conclusion about this inconsistency! Next morning, I was astonished to see three (3) members of staff all together in the small office behind the reception desk: all not wearing a face mask ... My summary: reduced service, non-supportive, money saving, while charging the same room price as always ... I will not come back, even not after the pandemic! BTW: if you pay approx. 10 EUR extra for a superior room, then you enjoy a free bottle of mineral water and the sound of approaching and leaving trains below your window instead of noise from the road in front of the hotel ;)

Reviewed By Lindita TThe rooms are clean and the hotel is in the center, but there are apartments in the back and tha parking, which can be noisy . The breakfast is good but there is extra cost and there is no refrigerator in the room.

Reviewed By BlackHorseStabl... IGood location. Quite big choice of food at breakfast, at least on weekends. We got a room with windows to insinde “yard”, so there was too hot in the room even with open windows. The bar of restaurant is open only for breakfast.

Reviewed By Higuma2017Finally a chance to rate something in Vechta. Yes, in the heart of the city, but not easy as far as parking is concerned. A matter of luck, as spaces nearby are limited. Rooms can be noisy, depending on who's hanging outside on the street, and whether it's a weekend or not. Rooms are reasonably well-stocked, warm in winter, but boiling hot in summer. Good bathrooms everything clean and tidy. Excellent breakfast at the ground level eatery. This is a true Niedersächsisch breakfast restaurant, with a good supply of Mettwürst for those lovely buns. They serve breakfast only here, as for the rest of the day they cater for people who come to spend hours seated at the tables and drinking no more than a cup of tea. Proper dinner will be found at the basement restaurant, and the food is lovely indeed. As a good continental hotel in Northern Germany, it still has not been exposed to the notion of credit cards. It's a cosy place. One can always come back to stay here.

Brilliant place to stay

I travel a lot for work and in all my time I have never experienced how I was treated at this hotel, there is a married couple running the place and from the moment I arrived to when I left they couldn't do enough for me. So helpful and attentive. The hotel is spotless clean and a great location. If you are lucky enough to stay here I hope you get to experience the same warmth and friendliness that I experienced. This place is special...you are a 5 minute drive or borrow a bike and head to the city center of Vechta. Otherwise go for a long walk or job through the beautiful enchanted forest! I felt like I was in a children's novel! Bring a book and relax on the patio or terrace. Fully equipped kitchen and washer/dryer in unit so you will want to go to the grocery store for a longer stay which is super convenient (5 mins away).

Reviewed By T555DKpaulrDirekt am Bahnhof liegt Hotel am neuen Markt. Hotel ist nicht gut nicht schlecht. Ist ein bisschen hängen geblieben in die 80 Jahren. Zimmer nicht so groß aber prima. Badezimmer klein aber prima. Preis im vergleich mit ibis an der überseite, prima. Frühstück prima.
