A dash of romance characterizes each of our classically elegant suites featuring sophisticated décor, rich wood furnishings and plush, textured fabrics. The spirit of Château Vaudreuil Hotel & Suites is approachable luxury in a marvellous waterfront setting. Upon arrival, you are welcomed by friendly staff, sparkling lake views and country manor-style warmth. The sense of calm settles you into a peaceful state of mind .

Reviewed By karenMOreillyI stayed one night so I could work remotely and keep an appointment I had with someone from the area. The hotel is beautiful, the renovations are gorgeous and I can totally understand why someone would want to have an event here! Speaking of events, there was apparently some special event happening the day I checked out, which is great but the extra staff in the lobby literally asking you over and over again anytime they saw you if you had a room at the hotel was beyond rude. The tone was accusatory and at one point after I confirmed that I was staying in the hotel I was literally chased down the hallway leading to the restaurant and asked for 'proof' that I was staying there. I gave my name and room number multiple times while they checked their list. I finally pulled out my room key when I saw they couldn't find me on the list. As for the rooms, my room was beautiful but the description stated that all these types of rooms had a 'lake view' mine was a parking lot view. When I inquired they changed my room to a dark and poorly decorated room that had a tiny window facing the lake. I declined the change and kept my original parking lot view. They did offer me a 10% discount for the lack of a view which was nice. They didn't give me the discount until I emailed them when I got home and pointed out that it was offered but not applied. This was my first time leaving the house other than for necessities since March 2020 so needless to say I was nervous but hopeful that the cleaning protocols were in place to keep us all safe. While the room did look very clean, when I found a pair of socks belonging to a previous guest on the floor near the bed, I had to question how thoroughly the room was cleaned. You can't unwind and watch tv unless you want to stream from your own account if you have one (I do not) or pay for a movie because you only have access to a handful of basic channels otherwise, and all of them cut out every few seconds. The TV menu includes 'hotel services' so I thought I would order some room service but that option doesn't work. It also offers self check out on the TV but it doesn't work either. I never did find out if they offered room service as I couldn't find a menu or any information even online. I am from Montreal originally and have family and friends in the area so I travel there often but I won't be staying here again. For the same price you can have a much nicer experience and not get treated like a trespasser when moving about the premises.

I had questions about parking, and even listening to them speak to the people In front of me, they had a friendly tone and they were very helpful. I suggest having a conversation with whoever was working after 11 PM on December 16th. I was having issues with my credit card and couldn’t pay for the whole reservation, I asked if I couldn’t pay for the night, and then pay for the rest the next day after calling the bank. Their response to me was “you reserved 5 days, I have to charge you the 5 days. I don’t know what you want me to do.” They we’re not helpful, there was no compassion, and it seemed like I was disturbing them.

There is a good selection of restaurants within an easy 5 minute walk. The room was large, clean, comfortable, and quiet. And unlike previous reviewers, I was impressed by the breakfast - not the nasty "continental" that I was used to in the past. And again, the staff looking after the breakfast area were terrific. Thank you!

Reviewed By Keeley WThis was the worst place I've ever stayed. I booked on booking.com as it had nice photos and a nice write up. the room, in particular the bathroom was dirty. I arrived, told them I had reservations for 2 rooms under my name and she took payment from my card. In the morning I received an email from booking.com that I was being charged for a NO SHOW! While i am IN THE ROOM! I went down to rectify and they tried to rip me off!!! I paid $196 for the rooms we used, and now I am being charged $250 for the booking.com rooms and they only want to refund me $171, telling me that I received an upgraded room (what a joke) and have to pay the difference plus all the taxes etc. I DONT THINK SO! I have had to call booking.com to rectify this and they are working on it now, but meanwhile I am out over $50 and it wasn't my error. They were very rude and I was told to "JUST GO"

Very affordable..excellent people to associate with...last room avail.. holiday inn wanted 185.00 for a suite.... no way.... small but comfortable ... easy out side access. Wide entrances for whelechairs..flat screen tv..wifi excellent.also a fridge nice n chilled

Possibly the worst accommodation in Montreal
Reviewed By Nick TPossibly one of the worst Canadian motels that I have ever stayed in. DO NOT STAY HERE AT ANY COST! I stayed in better accommodation when I was on operations with the Army in war torn back waters of Africa. The room was dark dirty and smelly. There were bare wires sticking out of the wall and the electrical wiring of appliances was highly suspicious. The place is a health and safety risk.
