Reviewed By carlericmWe just had a larger family dinner at the restaurant of Klimpfjällsgården and it really superseeded my expectations. The cousine it a great fusion of Italian and Souther Lappland with dishes such as reindeer carpaccio, carbonara with reindeer tongue and sous vide elk. Superb, super delicious and well worth a visit!

Många av våra gäster kommer för att uppleva utomhusäventyr i skidbackar, slappa på fiskeisar, köra skoter eller utforska Vindelfjällens naturreservat. Det är Sveriges grott-tätaste område med många spännande hemligheter att upptäcka. Här finns det gott om fina sevärdheter och leder både för kortare och längre turer. Det stora äventyret att tura en av världens bästa leder, Kungsleden, börjar här. Från anläggningen har du nära till de mesta som vår by har att erbjuda. Anläggningen ligger precis bredvid Hemavan Tärnaby Airport. Du har 250 meter till närmaste skidlift, en 10-minuters promenad till ICA, finner skoterleder direkt utanför dörren och skidspår inom gångavstånd.
Nice place, but could use some revision
Reviewed By DavvebieggaI stayed in a single hostel room (own sink, but shared bathroom and shower) and enjoyed my stay. Big kitchen and common room. Clean showers and toilets. However, the building seems kind of worn out. Slept well on the mattress, however the bed screeched each time I turned around. Most important thing to improve: The windows have no mosquito screen, which is a no-go in Lapland in summer! There are roller blinds for the bright summer nights, but it should also be possible to get enough fresh air in the night without inviting all the mosquitos in. Otherwise everything was fine, very friendly staff and a cozy restaurant in the main building.

Excellent small hotel
Reviewed By Stig FI did a stopover on my way heading further north. After a long drive it was a very nice feeling arriving to this small hotel. A very welcoming feeling that was felt as soon as entering the hotel. The breakfast was very good and it as a very relaxed feeling in the breakfast room.

Reviewed By 716ulrikasJag har bara positivt att skriva om Hook & Cup. Rent och fräscht, lättillgängligt, välorganiserat kök, sköna sängar, parkering, lekplats precis utanför. Vi anlände sent och reste tidigt så vi träffade aldrig personalen. Bemötandet via mail var dock mycket trevligt. Rekommenderas varmt om man är ute efter ett enkelt och gemytligt boende.

Reviewed By KHGH01One week stay with no problems at all. Good location just few minutes to city center, bus station, the river, and the hospital. Clean room with fair size. Large clean path room. Nice staff/owner who are very helpful. No breakfast buffet because of Coronavirus but one get breakfast articles in room’s refrigerator everyday. Free coffee in hotel restaurant all the time and in the room one can make own coffee and tea which is provided by the hotel. No daily cleaning but on get new towels when one use them Easy check in and out.

Reviewed By chrinysStandard quality concerning most fascilities. The food I had was absolutely OK and fresh, but I feel sorry for the vegetarians. Those dishes were unfortunably poor! The staff on duty did their best, but the amount of them - especially during our dinner could have been a few moor. Clean and tidy rooms.

Warmth amidst total gloomy winters

We had a drive event over the frozen lake Its a basic hotel, gives you a very wooden lodgy feel. The hotel directly overlooks a frozen lake, would be nice to see how the place looks in summers Not much available to do inside the hotel, everything is outside - like for eg skiing etc

During 3 days i stayed there, i could see they did not clean up the rooms, not even the dinner from last night was clean when i was having the next day's breakfast..... Really, i couldn't believe when i woke up and saw dishes and leftover food over the tables in TV room, unbelievable... I just stayed here because city hotels where full, no vacancy at all...my bad :-(

We have owned Holmen Bed & Breakfast since January 2013 since then we have updated all the bedrooms to a modern contempory look. The shower and washrooms have all under gone a refurbishment to a modern contempory feel. Our Bed & Breakfast is situated in a beautiful area of Swedish Lapland called Sorsele some of our rooms have views of the Vindelälven river.
Quality bed and breakfast, excellent service and good value
Reviewed By Lynne WIt's not that common in Sweden to find such a good quality bed and breakfast. The rooms are a standard above that of most hotels, with extremely comfortable beds, and everything worked out to be relaxing for the guest. The shared shower room is of a very high standard. The breakfast on offer is self- service and there's lots of choice. The setting is just right for the town, by the river and near a shop. The owners are willing to make suggestions of where to go, and help out if they can.
