Reviewed By 958rikkefWe have just returned from a lovely vacation at The Bay hotel in Zakynthos - best vacation we have had as a couple. The hotel was magnificant - on a very quit place long away from alle the noice and lot of tourists. In the middle of olive plantagetions and directly to the wonderful ocean. The food was lovely, the staff was always friendly - especially Adriana and Konstantina made our stay so pleasant with their always kind and helpfull way of beeeing. Everything was clean and the sourindings around the pool and beach was wonderful. The beds in the room were very good and you could always ask for new towls or another pillow. Only thing two things which we could wish was diffent was the music in the restaurant. To loud and too “disco”. Some bossa lounge music who have been more right on a hotel lile this. And a more seperation for families with small kids. They were also noicy at the dinner. But really recomed this hotel. We will come back.

Small & friendly Hotel nestled between the famous St.Nicholas beach with it's Water-sports & Diving Center and the long stretch of beach which starts from the hotel garden. Each area of this beach is defined by its beach bar & provides a different experience along the way.The Hotel is comprised of 52 standard rooms & 2 Suites housed in 3 buildings.The Accommodation is simply furnished.In each room facilities include.. air-conditioning,fridge,TV & telephone,safety deposit box,shower-room & furnished balcony or terrace. WiFi access in all areas of the Hotel. Relaxing gardens with pine trees & palms with a beautiful cool poolside bar serving a variety of dishes & exotic cocktails as well as refreshing drinks & ice-creams. Ample Parking for hotel guests.

Reviewed By gregseygrayWe were at this hotel 3 years ago. and it is as good as it was then. Totally agree the last review's comments. Incidentally, if you walk up to the main road, turn left, there are 3 good Tavernas, particularly the Babis, only 15 minutes walk from the hotel.

The Belvedere boutique Hotel is the perfect place for a holiday, located amongst Cypress trees in the beautiful verdant area of Vassilikos; undoubtedly one of the prettiest places on Zakynthos. Vassilikos is a charming village still relatively untouched by tourism, with tavernas and bars set in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Built on the side of a small hill, it overlooks the green fields below and beyond the blue sea of Gerakas and Porto Roma bays; the two best beaches on the whole island - only a 5 minute walk away. The hotel is built with the utmost attention to detail. The main colors are white and blue mixed only with the green color of the surrounding trees, simplicity, style and high quality of materials used are found throughout this unique hotel. The hotel provides not only a relaxed and quiet atmosphere but also all modern facilities such as internet access, satellite TV, DVD player and air-conditioning.
What a let down
Reviewed By camper1966Well were do I start , normally I rave about this place but not this time. When we arrived on the 19th May 2022 we both had a bad feeling and it was confirmed at 7pm when dinner time came tasteless cold food and flies landing on food, thought it might be a one off WRONG. The rest of weekend it got worse on the Sunday I got hold of the manager who stated she had issues with her chef and electrics so there was nothing she could do about it , the flies she denied yet as I spoke to her yet again they were on food , been there 3 times never an issue won’t be going back which is sad as we loved the place

If you do not have a car you have a problem with transportation, for near shop you need to walk like 1.5 km. Food for breakfast is normal. Restorant start working at 17.00 and variations of food is not very big but it is tasty

Good location
Reviewed By Bianca IBig room, excellent location, impressive garden. The view, the pool and the colonial architecture are really awesome, the most unpleasant thing unfortunately is the bathroom because is very old, but clean at the same time. The faucets are old style, look like something from the 90's. If they ever refurbish the bathrooms, this location would be top notch. We still had a great time here.

Basic hotel in good location with helpful staff
Reviewed By Alba LWe are not very fussy people and we just wanted to explore the island on this trip, so we needed a basic hotel in a decent location to stay in and this hotel was adequate for that. The guy who was running it by then was great, very nice and very helpful with us. There is a beach nearby at walking distance, pretty decent, and also lots of restaurants around. When we stayed (September 2017), we only had accomodation, no breakfast or anything; I don't think they have a kitchen, so if you stay here, you can cook your own food in the room's kitchenette (ours didn't seem very nice, we didn't use any of that) or you can go to the restaurants and tavernas around, some of them quite nice (you can reach them easily if you go for a short walk). We enjoyed the swimming pool and some drinks when we came back from exploring the island in the early evening, so basically this is a place to sleep, go explore, return and enjoy the pool in the evening for a bit, and sleep again, which was our plan, so it was good for us. The main issue was the bathroom, it was quite outdated and there was a problem with the ceiling paint falling down, and also the water flooding everywhere when we had a shower. If the rooms and bathrooms were improved, I would perhaps come back just because it is in a nice setting and the guy who was running it was very nice to us.

Lovely, quiet and with a view
Reviewed By dmrzcMe and my boyfriend had a wonderful stay at Villa Kapnisi, with quiet dinners under the stars in our little balcony, and mornings with a view. Our room was clean and tidy and had everything we might need. The beaches of Porto Roma and Gerakas are less than a 10min walk each, and we had help from our lovely hosts to rent a scooter on one of the days. They also provided a lift to the airport (and would have provided one on arrival but we forgot to organise it in advance) It cost half the price of a taxi. Overall a great find and we would certainly consider returning.

Reviewed By Antonia TAmazing hotel ! At a very quiet place. If you want to relax , that’s your hotel. There are beautiful beaches nearby. The port is also nearby. The food was delicious, the staff was very polite and friendly. The room was clean and very comfortable. Recommend! ??
