This place was what i was looking for when i came to Zakynthos - family run, local taverna with agreat vibe. Quirky, quaint layout, as rural as it gets but with amazing food and fantastic service. First and last place we came to - ate too much but loved it enormously. Menu is extensive and they'll explain it in detail if you need help - has to be fresh fish as it changes daily. Totally loved it.

Fistly remember this is a Snack bar and not a restaurant!!!
I am puzzled Reading some of the negative reviews expecting more from the menu!
I fully agree with all the positive comments/reviews, Kostas is a great host. Great location, kept really clean and superb drinks (hot & cold).
Went here twice during our stay with a half hour walk along the coast in 37+c heat, well worth it!!!!
Will defiantly return on our next visit to Zakynthos.

We've eaten here many times over the years when we visit Zakynthos and we keep coming back. The food is excellent, lots of choice to please anyone and freshly cooked.
They produce their own wine and other drinks.
I definitely recommend eating here during a holiday.

this we thought was the best taverna,in Vasilikos,good friendly staff and owner,well cooked food,a free starter, dip and lovely bread buns,all meat dishes chichen,pork,lamb, delicious,,but the steaks were the best,all served,with little roast potatoes,and greens,washed down with a litre of red wine.

Great Beach Bar where there are great choices of snacks and food available. You can have service in the Beach Bar area or to the beach for you to enjoy whilst sunbathing.
The staff on the beach area much more friendly and accommodating than those in main bar area

We ate here a couple of times and the food was pretty good. The menu is a mix of typical Greek dishes and a small selection of burgers and sandwiches, which were excellent.
The tables are well shaded by big parasols, so it's a nice spot to enjoy lunch and get out of the sun, with a lovely view of the sea.
Serrvice when we were there was inefficient and I don't think the waitress knew how to crack a smile, but don't let that put you off!

Traditional Greek beach hide away. We found this by accident really. And had breakfast lunch and drinks. We used the sunbeds that were €7.50 for 2 all day. The food home made and the lady was very friendly.

We had dinner here twice, lunch once and early drinks once. Every time, the staff were delightful, the view excellent (especially at sunset), and the food generous and very tasty indeed! Best dishes were: zucchini fries, aubergine dip, sardines, aubergines imam with feta cheese, moussaka, meatballs with tomato sauce, spanakopita and Greek salad. The lamb kebab was not great - oily, chewy and tasteless. Standard prices, clean restaurant and toilets, parking, access to the beach and sun beds and a cool downstairs/beach view bar area, too. Go there!
