Reviewed By 800doloresdThe pictures on the website are quite deceptive. The shower head completely rusted, barley any water sprinkled out. Toilet blocked, no pressure. The pool was dirty and no lounge chairs or flower pots like the pictures show. The queen room with the 2 chairs and sofa bed leaves no room to move around. Only sport Chanel and 1 cartoon Chanel on the TV. Over all I would spent the same amount in a high end Hotel. Left regretting this one.

Non Smoking Room Reeked of Cigarette Smoke
Reviewed By Lori RSmoke detector was broken, mould around front door, safety latch on door had been broken off, carpet was stained and full of cigarette burns, walls were dirty and scuffed, air conditioner was old and noisy, filter needed cleaning. Decor dates from the seventies. Furniture was scratched and light fixture by bed held together with electricians tape. Half the room was taken up with a two person jacuzzi and there were mirrors on the walls and ceilings. Complained to front desk but was told nothing they could do about it. Staff don't seem to know what they are doing. Pool water was murky. Air conditioner was loud, impossible to sleep with it running.

Family oriented and very pleasant
Reviewed By 66rafidhWe spent 3 nights at the lodge last week with our family and friends (11 people in total). Our rooms were on the second and third floors, all rooms had a 3 piece bathroom (bathtub, sink and toilet) and all the linen and towels were included. The rooms were very clean. Currently there is no food served at the lodge's restaurant, so we had to bring our own food, there are fridges thought the building to store your food. The lodge offers BBQs under a covered patio where you can prepare your food and there are table and chairs to eat as well. There is access to water, to a small but cozy beach, and access to non-motorized equipment such as a canoe, kayak or a paddle boat. We also had access to a fire pit where we had the greatest bonfire ever. I would like to thank the owner, Malgosia, for her hospitality and for her being an instant friend to our entire group, we will definitely be back next year. I do recommend this place to anyone who is interested in exploring the area; Val-David, Mont-Tremblant or just sitting by the water in enjoying the view.

Reviewed By David MThis was our last stop on our P'Tit Train du Nord vacation. It was 3km off the trail but that was not an issue. Check in was terrific and the lady could not have been more helpful. The room was a little dated, but it was only for sleeping anyway. We had a dinner and breakfast package. The food was good. It was served in a timely manner and was at the right temperatures.

Excellent location and comfortable
Reviewed By georgedR8659AZA quiet oasis just outside of Val David. Room was comfortable and they have bikes/kayaks for rent. Small river runs through the back of the property where you can splash or paddle. Shared kitchen facilities and a breakfast in the morning were a pleasant surprise.

Reviewed By Roger SUn endroit très calme, tout juste à coté de la piste cyclable et à quelques minutes à pieds de resto, épicerie, etc. Super beau petits chalets, WiFi excellent. Très sécuritaire pour les enfants, nous le recommandons à 100 %. Nous y retournerons l'an prochain.

Spotlessly clean, beautifully located right on the banks of a river (we could see and hear it from our room), super comfy king sized bed, all the little luxuries we could want in our room and a delicious breakfast the next morning! It's right on the Petit train du nord cycling path. Price is reasonable but experience was luxury!

Just what we needed...
Reviewed By Jackie GAuberge du Lac Dore is a perfect getaway. Lloyd was first to check us in, with warmth and professionalism. He served us continental breakfasts and made us feel so at home. We then met Fernando who is a superb host and treated us like loved house guests. With access to the lake across the street, you definitely want to spend lazy days here. The rooms are spacious and clean. We couldn't have asked for anything better for our 3-day long weekend. Thank you Lloyd and Fernando for your special treatment and we look forward to our return.
