I arrived early on a Friday evening at Goesting, surprised by the location and architecture. The restaurant was still empty, but as the evening went on it filled up to capacity. The atmosphere is relaxed, but the service is very attentive. My friend and I shared Utrecht charcuterie as a starter, and I then had a delicious veal steak tartare with a choice of how I would spice it from a range of ingredients. I will certainly come back and look forward to visiting the terrace this summer!

Just went here for a quick bite and short business discussion.Ate their beef carpaccio nicely flavoured with herbs and balsamic vinegar. Do not worry for the rest as the carpaccio is simply so good that you do not want to eat anything else.

Zilt & Zoet is a restaurant in Maartensdijk, a small village near Utrecht. The restaurant has a Privat Dinning room (20 guests) a nice terras, Privat Parking and a Wine tasting room with a small wine shop. The menu changes 6 times a year with the seasons.

Finding good restaurants in Holland is never easy - but what a pleasant surprise in discovering Zilt & Zoet just outside Utrecht - a restaurant in a location a tourist would never find but thanks to the internet...A classy restaurant in a quiet residential area..offering fine dining and great value menus. From start to finish the Zilt & Zoet is an excellent restaurant. from the welcome to the service from the young friendly staff...to the short but thoughtful menu, excellent and good priced wine list and the well cooked and presented dishes...all was perfect. Best dining Ive had in Holland for a long time.. would love to go back and a great find - highly recommended if you are in the Utrecht area.

Anak Depok has for many years been a steady fortress of refined Indonesian cuisine. We still like to visit this restaurant to illustrate the difference from the usual toko-fare. Prices have gone up through the years and, when visiting with a family, the bill can reach impressive heights.Albert Heijn, the supermarket chain, offers a scheme with which you can have a substantial reduction in price in selected restaurants, the basic scheme being " dinner for two for the price of one", drinks excluded. Anak Depot takes part in this scheme, but why remain elusive. Reservation times are severely limited. Once you have secured a place you get a limited menu only. All other guest were received courteously, we felt less so. All other tables were serviced quickly, not so ours. We had to wait until all others were serviced.The food is good, but this approach is narrow-minded and suggests a calculated approach to guests that lacks in style. When you do not feel welcome, a full-price return becomes less likely. The management should reminder this.

We have been here many times and it is always a pleasure to enjoy the excellent food and delicious wines. The restaurant is located very close to the railway station, only a minute walking. It's not easy to choose since all starters and pasta's are great, especially the pasta with mushrooms and truffle oil. Nice but limited (so always fresh) meat and fish dishes and some classics as desert. A good variety in tasteful wines and last but not least coffee which makes you feel like being in Italy. Friendly service at reasonable prices. What else do you need?

We happened to stumble upon this restaurant but as soon as we saw the simple menu of Dutch inspired dishes we knew we had to go. The wait staff were lovely. And the food was delicious. And reasonably priced for a nice meal out.
