Excellent organization, suitable for couples, interesting menus, professional staff: I recommend a visit to the summer and autumn, when there is still enough light for a great view. Excellent dessert in a cottage with a rich cultural program. We discovered this restaurant quite by accident. The restaurant is located just a few kilometers from Ljubljana Airport. We ordered mushroom soup, Viennese steak and dumplings (Å¡truklji). The food was excellent. Service was prompt and very friendly. We recommend everyone to stop by and try some excellen dumplings.

We came hungry after skiing. The staff were polite, they quickly connected the tables for the larger group. Unfortunately, pizza has little to do with typical Italian pizza, it's rather some Slovenian fantasies about pizza. Very difficult to digest, we felt languid and weary for many hours. I do not know how other dishes because we did not try

We had such a wonderful night at this restaurant! Consistent with other reviews, host Mira is incredible. She serves, cooks, converses in multiple languages and makes it all seem effortless. We ordered too much food, but everything was delicious! Mushroom soup was my favorite, husband got beef noodle. Each soup order enough for two people (2.5 euro). We ordered salad which consists of lettuce, pickled beets and tomatoes lightly dressed in a vinaigrette (3 euro). Mira also suggested we try the pumpkin seed oil which she left on the table - yum. We each ordered our own entrees (10.5 euros each). All were delicious - sausage, pork and trout. Served with zucchini and nettle cannelloni. Meats also included potatoes and trout served with roasted pistachios and capers.We sat on a balcony that overlooks trees. Temperature and setting were very peaceful and relaxing. There were only 8 tables and all were full. There are more tables inside but if you want to dine outside I would suggest reservations.

This is an attractive restaurant situated near the ski resort on Krvavec and, therefore, busy both summer and winter. There is also a very nice garden for outside dining.I have been here several times with family and friends and have always been very pleased with both the service and the quality of the food. It is, however, a trout centred restaurant. Yes there are other things on offer but basically one goes here to eat fish.How many ways are there to prepare trout? Visit this restaurant to find out. Smoked trout is served in a variety of ways with a variety of accompaniments. Hot trout is served fried, grilled, baked etc and even a combination of three different styles. All are excellent and the local trout (smoked at home) are all fresh and tasty. Service is always friendly and accomodating.A spacious restaurant good for larger parties as well as intimate groups I can recommend it without hesitation.

On a slovene countryside, Krištof offers the perfect getaway from overcrowded Bled. Charming terrace, rustical interior with a touch of sensitivity. Tradition lives here. But when it comes to food... welcome to the next level, no kidding! Fantastic service for very special treats, signed by local producers. We tasted mushrooms, seafood, red meat... and everything was simply WOOW!! The pictures will tell you more. Wide also the wine list and the selection on glas. Can't wait to visit them again! Great service, marvellous food... unforgettable memories...with the right people.

We are in Slovenia for a Friendâs Wedding. We are staying in the Hotel Friday 12/07/18 and Saturday 12/08/18 Nightâs. Friday night we ate dinner. Husband had the Pork and I had the Venison cooked Medium. Saturday Breakfast. The staff working - Attentive, Pleasant. Food was hot and tasty. Presentation was very Nice. Breakfast you have a selection of how you would like your eggs prepared. With a good selection of items. My Husband enjoyed his Espresso and I enjoyed my Hot Earl Grey Tea. We were given Orange Juice and Water. Thank you for taking the time to write a 5-bubble review about your experience in our restaurant. We are glad you enjoyed the whole package and we hope to see you again when next time in Slovenia.

The food in the restaurant is not very good. The waitress that served us was very kind, but pretty unprofessional. There are five different lunch packages available and they basically include everything that is on the main course menu. The luch package includes soup, main course, salad and dessert. Wife ordered a salad "Äebelica" which was drowned in water. Daughter ordered grilled stake and vegetables and after she finished it her plate was covered with oil containing burnt bits from the grill. My Weekend lunch 5: mushroom soup (had slimy things inside, clearly thickened with wheat flour, but tasted fine), steak with a mushroom sauce (very much like the mushroom soup - very floury), served with vegetables (carrots, cauliflower) and cottage cheese struklji on the side - acceptable. After the main course my daughter and I were waiting to get the promised salad, but the waitress disappeared and didn't bring the included dessert either. After waiting for a long time, we went to get her inside and then she asked if I wanted the dessert. After checking the bill we noticed that the dessert needed to be payed extra. So, not just that we did not get two salads, we also had to pay for the dessert that was supposed to be included into the lunch package. When we kindly pointed out her mistake, there was no apology. I consider that very unprofessional, maybe we chose a bad day/time to be served. The food is probably the same anytime. There's a lot of room for improwement, definitely.
