There are many restaurants in Wels. There are many Asian restaurants in Wels. Therefore there is no need to come to this one. My girlfriend is vegan so usually Asian restaurants are a good choice for us because meat is not so big a focus as it is in other cuisines. She ordered the spring rolls, which on the menu had no mention of meat, just vegetables (we both speak German). She took a bite out of her first one and it had mystery meat in it so no starter for her, and her appetite completely gone. Even as a carnivore they were not good spring rolls, just cabbage and poor quality ground "pork". Our main courses were barely average, very salty and overpriced for what we got. The whole front half of the restaurant, which we didn't realise when we first chose a table, was a smoking section. A guy came in to wait for his takeaway food, sat at the next table and proceeded to chain-smoke cigarettes while chatting with a staff member so we asked to be moved. We were moved to a completely empty section in the rear which should have given us an idea of the quality of food that was about to be served to us, when no other diners were in. However, we shouldn't have worried about the solitude as the second the buffet opened our section was filled with obese families treating their (frequent) visits to the buffet like hyenas around a freshly killed wildebeest and making a similar style and level of noise. We couldn't get out of there quickly enough and I recommend you save yourself the stress by not coming in the first place.

Hier kann man wirklich sehr gut indisch essen. Das Lokal hat eine vielfältige Speisekarte und die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich. Das Essen wird frisch zubereitet und schmeckt sehr gut würzig. Man kann die Schärfegrade der Speisen wählen, was bei indischen Restaurants oft nicht der Fall ist. Es gibt auch einen Lieferservice.

This is both a grocery store and a restaurant. The food is good and the staff is friendly. However, there are only three tables in this small alcove wich serves as the dining area, wich means that around lunchtime it is hard to get a seat

E's is the original Thai snack house in Wels. Never been to Thailand, but I've eaten lots of Thai food in the US and NL, and it is as authentic as it gets in this neck of the woods.Not fancy and not trying to be, the menu consists of approx. 15 dishes, all good. Be sure to try the Papaya or glass noodle salad! Note to strict vegetarians: everything gets prepared in the same wok.Reserve a day in advance and call early with your take away orders to avoid long waits.The shop, which takes up far more space than the eatery, has everything you need for to prepare you own Asian delights, including fresh vegetables from Thailand.

Lili Asia was recommended to me and my friends by a local we asked on the street for a good place to have a lunch. We all had a different meal and we all loved it. The ingredients are fresh, the portions big and for a reasonable price.
