Another lovely visit to Amiraâs with a group of friends for an evening meal. Of particular highlight this time were the coconut chilli chicken and also the pudding! I never usually order pudding after curry but the caramel apple pie was delicious. I also enjoyed the dark and stormy cocktail, my absolute favourite. This was our 1st vist but certainly wonât be our last, food and service was fantastic, and value for money, cleanliness and decoration was immaculate , we brought our dad here for fathers day , he thoroughly enjoyed himself as did we and canât rate our experience here high enough and will shall be returning without doubt .. thanks so much for helping making a lovely farthers day Bernadette, David and Colin Fitton

Got takeaway from here for myself and my 4 teenage kids on our trip through southern England a few weeks ago. Had never eaten at an Indian restaurant and frankly still not sure what I ordered from the menu, but we got a lot of food for the money, were all full afterwards. I wouldn't say the food was great, but it wasn't bad, and as mentioned, there was a lot of it. Customer service was very friendly and assisted me in deciding what to order. Would eat here again.

What a lovely gem of a country pub. Unspoilt by the modern rat race. Matt the landlord is a smashing bloke, the Thai food is superb and The Harveys Best is every bit as good as Black Boys Inn, which is the yardstick as far as Harveys is concerned...

There is one only problem with The Royal Indian....... deciding which one of the delicious dishes to order! The food is so good that is a job to decide on a favourite. The Sea Bass Moilee is fantastic, so flavorsome and fragrant with spices. The lamb is amazing, really tender with different variations of spices depending on which dish you go for. There is a great choice of different sides and even the drinks have the best selection that we have seen in an Indian restaurant which different cocktails available. The staff are always friendly and attentive.This is not your average Indian restaurant. From the outside it looks ordinary but inside you will find it a step above the others. It has a lovely contemporary design with the tables well set out with clean white napkins and tablecloths. The quality stands out in both the decor and most importantly the food which is wonderful.
