Traditional brewery tap pub, attached to The Burton Bridge Brewery. We have a skittle alley and a meeting room that are both available to hire, great for parties and team building.
This was a great find on our short trip to Burton upon Trent. Right across from our hotel, the pub is friendly and welcoming and has a great range of ales, some brewed on site I think. The two guys who run the pub are friendly and gave us some really good advice on nearby restaurants. Every are should have a pub like this, thanks.

We're on a project to find a new eating place each week within a 20 min drive, and decided upon the Hawk and Buckle. Nice pub, good décor, friendly staff, sister restaurant to highly recommended The Roebuck at Draycott in the Clay.Similar menu and wine list, good food, we shall be returning.

A fun & vibrant local pub in the heart of Littleover Village, Derby. The White Swan is a friendly community based pub that stocks a fantastic range of draught beers, lagers, ciders & fine wines. The White Swan is also renowned for its excellent food. Plea

We visit once or twice a year and the food is always good value and quality. We usually visited on a Friday when the meal deal is not available but this time it was a Thursday and we have two mains, from a good selection of the full menu and a bottle of wine for £21.95 !! I think our mini mixed grill and 8oz gammon would have been £17 from the full menu. The home cooked chips are the best you can get, the food is nicely cooked and the hot plates were a pleasant surprise. My best tip would be to say how you like your meat cooked if ordering a mixed grill. I usually say but forgot this time although it was a good medium, I prefer rare.

I had heard so many good things about this place and remembered that it was on 4 in a bed (I forgot that it was the winner). Having been disappointed recently with a few places around Derby we gave this a try. WOW! My only regret is that I had not been here before. Food, service and atmosphere were brilliant.

Excellent food and service in beautiful surroundings, with plenty of local ale. We also do are own walking book with six circular walks to suite all.We open all day every day from 10am until 11.30, food is served from 12 until 2.30 for lunch and 6 until 9
We went to the Boot on an early evening - there were lots of people enjoying a beverage in a very pretty outdoor patio space. The inside of the Boot is eclectic and very old - in a good way - low ceiling beams, fireplace and nicely appointed tables. We shared the backed camembert and I had a penne dish that had a hint of heat with olive oil and tomatoes. The flavours were excellent, the wine list was not extensive but offered nice variety and good quality and the servers and staff were very friendly. It is a place that look forward to visiting on my next trip over the pond to the Cheater area next year.

In the heart of Willington village backing on to the Trent and Mersey canal, the dragon is the area's favourite destination for diners, drinkers, walkers and boaters alike. the dragon, is a 150 year old pub with character, charm and a warm welcome and has
Enjoyed a birthday breakfast here with 10 friends. Staff were really helpful and let us move when a couple of extras turned up. The food was delicious and staff really attentive. The birthday platter & candle was a lovely gesture. Would definitely recommend and intend to go back soon for a breakfast as it was perfect.

we're lucky enough to have this fantastic pub within walking distance but rarely do we eat here in the evening as it's either booked out or we like to travel further afield but we booked in advance on a very busy Friday night but I have to say that the service and quality of food was not affected by the large volume of customers that evening. I have eaten here for lunch and most frequently breakfast and the service is always good. It still manages to strike a good balance between a local village pub and popular eatery. Well done to the team for getting the balance just right.
