Lovely fresh food and amazing value and that is just the sandwiches/paninis!! The hot options looked just as good. Such a shame we live so far away. The amount of people in here is testament to how good it is and we thoroughly enjoyed our food, prompt service too.

Came here for breakfast on first morning of my visit to Stratford on the basis on reviews here. I was surprised to find it so quiet, despite being only a minute away from the Birthplace.The coffee was excellent and I had the ciabatta filled with my choice of egg, sausage and bacon. the ingredients were all very tasty and it was all cooked well. Service was friendly and I could see why it is number 1 for breakfast in Stratford.

Met with family for breakfast and all were very impressed.Sausages in particular are lovely and of a high"local produce type" quality. Staff were superb and(Zack) couldn't do enough to help and offer recommendations (amazing cake!).Very much look forward to visiting again.

I visited The Buttercup Tearoom today (10/3/2018). I received a really warm welcome and had a wonderful toasted tea cake and pot of tea served in a beautiful vintage teapot as well as vintage crockery. The atmosphere was lovely too, and Bev looked after me as well as the other customers. Definitely going back!

Living on the South Coast where everything is overpriced and value for money is almost none existent, seeing the prices on the menu here made me and my wife think weâd travelled back in time!You just canât go wrong with 2 big breakfasts, which included toast and tea, for less than a tenner!! Hallelujah for not ripping the customer off for once!We loved the atmosphere here too - newspapers on the table, workmen turning up in clothes covered in paint & loads of football fans on the way to Wembley.The food was decent - OK, Gordon Ramsey might turn his nose up but itâs what we call good honest food. The lot was on our plate ; sausages, bacon, tomatoes, baked beans, fried egg, hash browns & fried bread. We loved it!I really would love a place like this transported down to where I live & watch the locals flock in. It would be an undeniable winner.

On the hottest day of the Bank Holiday we were attracted to Henley for the Music Festival & really enjoyed what we had and listened to Tony Wall singing....beautiful, and the rest of the customers shared the experience. Felt really sorry for the staff, it was REALLY HOT & we do not blame them for not smiling....they worked their sox off to serve everybody. We'll be back....when it cools down.Hi Tony, thank you very much for the positive review - It's really unusual for the team not to be smiling - their smiles must have melted that day, as you say, it was extremely hot! Really appreciate your understanding and your recognition of their hard work, they are a great team that I'm very lucky to have.

We stopped here after cycling along the tow path from Wilmcote.The clutch of converted farm buildings house some interesting shops. This cafe is tucked in the corner and at first we thought the signage was a bit confusing. The seating is in a beautifully restored room and very cosy. We werenât concerned about the quality the paper on which the menu was printed, unlike a previous reviewer, more the food.The celeriac soup and cheese scone was very good as was the tuna jacket which came with a good salad. Our only comment is that the BLT and Bacon and Brie toastie came on white bread when we asked for granary.We would call in again as service and food were very good despite the mix up over the bread.
