The restaurant is very modest and calm, both the waiter and the front of the house were pleasant, friendly and most importantly honest with ( fresh fish or not, frozen or not}.we liked the scallops, mixed rice, oysters, mussels and the fish of the day.

Another lovely visit to this place. Might be the best Sunday lunch in town - and brilliant for me as a vegetarian. Great front of house hostess and service. And good quality freshly cooked food. Always busy on a Sunday - we were lucky to get a table. Thank you TR for another great Sunday lunchtime. Thank you very much for the positive review. Tempted by the introductory offer my friends and I thought we would try the afternoon tea unfortunately it didn't match up to our expectations and we left feeling extremly disapointented. Sandiches were okay but not exciting. The sconess were already dressed with jam and cream and were that big had been cut in half. I thought the idea of afternoon tea was for the customer to add their own jam and cream according to taste. The cakes were also disappointing. If I didn't know better I could buy the same cakes from Sainsburys.Sorry guys I suggest you stick to what you know as I will not be returning.

I've been here so many times I thought I should review it - because it deserves recognition.The Frisch always cooked to perfection - very high quality. I do like a good crispy chip - fluffy on the inside. Never been disappointed. Staff are excellent.

Went for lunch with my wife,it was our first time and it was excellent.We had two bacon and Brie sandwiches and we really enjoy them.Service was very good and the whole experience was great.We definitely will be back

Meal four people 2 had mezze one had lamb one had moussaka, Plenty of food in the mezze but not that good selection and quality , lamb was nice , Moussaka was horrid full of nutmeg and basically inedible. flat bread hard cold stale, Nice warm welcome entertaining night but food average at best

Came here for a family gathering after a funeral - Dotties catered to all of our needs perfectly (Including delicious gluten free, vegan and vegetarian sandwiches and cakes) and provided excellent customer service!Would certainly recommend this place for similar events as not only was it delicious but exceptionally well priced.Thank you for your lovely review.
