What a joy this place is to visit. Didn't know what to expect going for a Sunday lunch at a Prison. The building which is a chapel is very unique. Open from 12-2pm for Sunday Lunch. Upon entering, you'd never think this was run by female inmate. It was so professional, extremely clean and very well laid out. It really was like going to a fine dining restaurant. The atmosphere felt great and the staff were extremely pleasant, happy and helpful. Don't be afraid to have a look around to enjoy the paintings and read the poems etched on the frosted glass, reading the thank you cards from ex-prisoners and happy customers bought a tear to my eye. The very friendly manager was happy to explain everything to me about the restaurant and the prisoners. Didn't wait long for the meal...Oh my...the presentation was amazing. The tastes and flavour were exquisite. All very hot. Obviously, we had to have dessert which was also divine. We will definitely be back. It was all value for money. Oh, we purchased 'The Clink' tea towel. Thank you all very much for your great hospitality and wonderful cooking. You are all an inspiration.

We stumbled on this lovely place after a good walk around The Edge and lots of mud. Very welcoming to dogs and walkers alike. Cheery and friendly welcome and service from the lovely staff, and we loved the choice of freshly-baked cakes and other treats -all locally sourced.It was just the perfect place and look forward to returning again soon -highly recommended for visitors to the area!

When you're meeting after work on a Monday, Revolution definitely is the place to go.There's a good choice of tables, including booths and we sat away from the crowd in a room at the back of the restaurant. Comfy chairs, pleasant atmosphere.Half price on most of the menu and we both had fish and chips. Mine was fine, I thought the fish was good although the batter wasn't crispy, not really an issue for me.My friend really didn't enjoy his at all. Worst he'd had, tasteless fish he said. Went here for lunch during the week - staff quick and friendly, food was excellent. Freshly cooked calamari with a sweet chilli and yoghurt dip and them a hanging chicken kebab with lots of garlic butter - made me smell a bit antisocial but worth it! Our friends,suggested to eat here.We all had the Monday night,steak deal.Unfortunately,my friend was given the wrongly,cooked steak,which was taken back and another one,was sent,15 minutes later,with their apologies but they did not offer anything else.The good was ok but my husband,did not have any sauce and his was bland,just steak and chips.We could have had vegetables but it would have cost us more!A but noisy,with a few tipsy people,talking very loudly!Probably wouldn't go back.

I can not get enough of this restaurant. The food is lovely, the service is impeccable and the atmosphere is excellent. Wilmslow is incredibly lucky to have a restaurant serving food at this quality at this price. Everything is incredibly tasty and fromMy experience no dishes disappointed. I loved the lamb and the chicken thighs. The eclectic menu choice offered us a dinning experience that Iâd never have the time to replicate or execute at home and thatâs what I want from a restaurant. I canât recommend highly enough. Thanks to the team that have just catered for 13 friends. All the meals were really tasty and everyone left full and happy. We're (semi) regulars and the service is always so friendly and we're happy to recommend.The best fish and chip that we know of...and caters for coeliac/gluten-free on a Sunday too.Great fish and chips and great service...Thanks to all the team that looked after us tonight. :D

We visited about 7pm on a Sunday evening and had a wonderful meal. The mussels and beef bourginon that I had and the cheese soufflé and duck my husband had was all fabulous. The service was great and the team even put the radiator on for me when I requested it as I hadnât dressed in a jumper (despite knowing better!) Always lovely and a great place. Highly recommended. The food here is always nice-simple but very enjoyable.But on our latest visit the food and coffee have risen to a new level.I had the crayfish sandwich which was quite outstanding and my wife actually ordered a second cappuccino the Cotham now become so good.And the cafe is so popular we were lucky to have arrived early and got a tableThank you for your review, Brian - we're so happy to hear that we've exceeded your expectations on both food and drink.
