Uluwatu Specialty lodgings | Places to Stay in Uluwatu

June 14, 2023 Sheron Bogner

Symbolized by its clifftop temple, Uluwatu encapsulates the mysticism of Bali’s coastline. The seaside spot, perched on the tip of the Bukit Peninsula, is most famous for its nightly kecak fire dance performance, which adds another layer of atmosphere to sunset at Land's End.

Full of ants!!

Reviewed By emzzzz1432

Booked in here for a full week and paid in full stayed for one night only as our room was covered in ants crawling all over our bed and headboard and side lockers . Bathroom was full of ants too get discussing to shower as you felt dirtier getting out. We asked could we move room as ours was full of ants and they said there were no more rooms and would not offer a refund so we just left after one night I could not sleep knowing there were ants crawling my all over the place . The bed sheets too were dirty and the curtains. The staff then just so unhelpful and unwilling to give a refund even though the room was unlivable. I wouldn’t mind the state of the rest of the place as I do realise this is a cheap hostel if it weren’t for the ants

Ate lunch here daily

Reviewed By martincrewuk

Food was incredible, cheap and tasty. Close to Padang Padang beach entrance just up from rip curl surf shop (trip advisor map is slightly off). Had lunch here 3 days on the trot. Had local Indonesian dishes less than £10 for the four of us with water. The toilets are local style and a bit grubby, but we felt the kitchen area was clean and haven’t got anything else negative to say about it. Tried a variety of local dishes and loved them all. Don’t usually eat at the same place when travelling around, but loved it here. Didn’t stay here but popular with those looking for cheap rooms. Asked and between £12 and £16 a night depending on proximity to the main road.
