Amazing Food in Germany's Black Forest
Reviewed By araghaIf you find yourself in Germany's Black Forest region, you must visit the wonderful restaurant attached to this hotel. We didn't stay at the hotel but we had a splendid meal at the restaurant on Saturday night. Everything from the starter--tomato salad--to the main course of fish was cooked to perfection. Daniel, the chef who hails from the family which has owned this hotel for generations, has worked at some of Zurich's finest restaurants and it shows in the food he delivered to our table. The sommelier, Benny, certainly knows his craft and plied us with a delightful selection of wines, starting with a superb Muscatel. We were so impressed with the Muscatel that we inquired about buying a bottle--the restaurant sold us one at a very reasonable price! I can't say enough great things about this restaurant--and if the food is any indication of the quality that the family attaches to this hotel, I suspect guests will find the rooms equally appealing.

Everything was perfect, nothing to complain. we breakfast buffet was excellent, lot of choises, the rooms were nice and clean with a nice balcony. There is also a big indoor pool, the water has the perfect temparture. in the evening we had diner in their restaurant , it was just excellent! The service was very friendly, nothing to complain ! we will definitly come again! in regards to the location, we are close from everything. on the first day, we left the hotel by foot and made a 7km walk that we choose from the Schwarzwaldapp. in the afternoon we went to Todnau (35mins drive). The Feldberg and Titisee are also very close by.

Nice country inn serving traditional food from Southern Germany

It is in a tranquil location, ideal for those who want to enjoy the landscape and find a place to rest. The Swiss border is a short drive away. The double room #1 is rustically furnished with a comfortable bed and equipped with sitting area with a round table. All is perfectly clean. A bottle of mineral water is available in the room. The bathroom is equipped with a shower cabin. The pillows had little volume and we found them rather uncomfortable. The room is with balcony. WIFI worked perfectly. The breakfast is richly garnished with high-quality products from the region. The restaurant serves hearty regional cuisine. The meats are from the own butchery. The staff is friendly and helpful. The inn has no elevator and this could be a problem for guests with mobility problems. We have enjoyed our stay in the Rössle and can recommend it without restriction.

I loved the bedroom, the food (lovely!), the staff (absolutely available and nice, anytime) and the position, despite it being not very close to any big town. Highly recommended!

Great place to stay in the black forest
Reviewed By yarivitzWe got a great room. Huge. Great location. A suoermarket is near. People are very friendly. Free Parking, wifi. nice family. Laundry service. I loved it, hope to visit some more times there. The location is great for all attractions, Europe park is a little far but was not a great problem because we went once.

Reviewed By kreecher81This is a great place, which is worth all its feedbacks. Situated actually in the field, the place is very quiet. The hosting family is super nice, friendly, helpful and kind. We had an apartment under the roof with private kitchen and a bathroom. Everything was extremely clean, lots of stuff in the kitchen - everything you might need, incl. microwave and oven, toster, kettle, dishes, mugs, fridge - absolutely everything. The beds were very comfortable and sleep quality is 10/10. There is a TV+DVD player and free Wi-Fi of course. Balcony is amazing to have breakfast or late dinner on. I highly appreciate the warm welcome we received in this house, I do strongly recommend it to everyone and will love to return to it again soon!

Only a few bedrooms but clean with nice little touches like a chocolate left on your pillow at night with fresh fruit and sparkling Black Forest water left in the room for guests.Herr Bauerle, Le Patron is an amiable fellow who cooks beautifully. Simple, no frills food and his Chicken and Pommes Frites and home produced salad fm his garden is wonderful .His beer is sworn to German purity laws. Amazing value for money.

Un endroit authentique et plein de charme

Une grosse maison (un peu difficile à trouver au regard de l'adresse indiquée) située dans un joli village typique de la forêt noire. Les chambres d'une propreté impeccable sont vastes avec leur petit coin salon et leur douches très agréables. Le repas, pris le soir sur la terrasse, était délicieux et raffiné. Le couple qui assurait l'accueil et le service était adorable. Cette maison familiale mérite que l'on s'y arrête. Bon rapport qualité/prix.
