Built in Spanish style, the hotel is surrounded by stunning mountain views and a well-kept garden, the indoor pool is very pleasant, a children's playground, excellent service, the staff is professional, attentive and courteous. The hotel owner Tania Delgado Tello is a lovely, warm and cordial woman. Dora Delgado Aman A caring woman who wholeheartedly cared for us to make our stay at the hotel pleasant. Dining Room Manager Cristian Pena Nice person, excellent service. Highly recommended ! ! !

Reviewed By alplanLocated in a quieter part of the town very close to the thermal springs with a great roof top view of the waterfall. Local art is on every wall and is for sale which gives the place a unique feel to it. Our room had been newly painted, but was nothing to write home about. We had a comfortable quiet nights sleep. Its very odd that if your room is in the courtyard you walk through the kitchen to get to the main part of the hotel. The owner let us park our motorbike in the secure courtyard. Food was good

Reviewed By Pic152We would 100% recommended this lovely hotel. It is well placed, a 10 minute stroll to the centre of Banos, with views of the mountains. Our room was comfortable and spotlessly clean (as was the whole hotel), had a good shower, a nice seating area outside our room. Breakfast was good and plentiful, with eggs, fruit, croissants, fresh juice and coffee, served in a nice breakfast room. Elena, the young lady who looked after us, was absolutely lovely, friendly, professional and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. She is a great asset to the hotel. Parking was safe and secure, inside the gated property. Free drinking water in reception.area. The hotel exceeded our expectations and was exceptionally good value for money.

Johan was a great host with lots of helpful advice on how to enjoy your stay in Baños. The price of the room was also very reasonable.

One even took a moment at dinner to play us the guitar; he’s very talented. The chef is super talented as well with the dishes he creates. We would definitely return again.

Beautiful hotel above Baños

If you are coming from the Amazon, it can be hard to find because the signage only faces the road coming from the direction of Quito. The road you want is about 800 meters toward the Amazon from Masgas, a service station. There is a big overhead sign to mark it when you are traveling toward the Amazon. The gardens are beautiful and it feels like you are in an oasis of flowers and green spaces. The pools were nice, good view of the city and a nice restaurant/bar. The pools are small but there are four so you can have your own. Our room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. Just needed more towels. The restaurant was excellent - quality food and attentive servers. The hike/sendero to either the Virgen or Casa de Arbol were a bit steep and or a little confusing. We got to both but it was an experience!

Amazing for families with young children
Reviewed By B5269XTkatiepI nearly cancelled my reservation before we came because I thought a hostel so inexpensive would not be suitable for my small kids, who are 16 months and 4 years. I was worried about the vibe, would people be annoyed with them, would people be too loud etc. This is definitely a hostel but has an absolute hotel vibe. There is no drinking allowed in the main areas and nobody is allowed to hang out past ten pm,which has made it quiet and lovely. When I booked, I was concerned about the open windows as my children are so little, and they kindly booked us in a room with the windows facing the hall. It has been quiet and peaceful. My children are welcomed. The beds are big enough to share with kids and the blankets are warm and cozy. The temperature is perfect. It is spotlessly clean and the kitchens have tons of space. The front door faces a sort of alley (although not sketchy) so the kids can walk in and out safely. It is so close to all the restaurants, grocery, bus terminal and places to organize trips. Honestly you don't have to break the bank to get comfort here! Book it!

Marvelously whimsical, full of art, orquids and good food
Reviewed By janphilipb2021The whimsical architectural aesthetic may be worth the visit but the inner courtyard filled with orchids and fruits is dazzling as well. Seemingly designed by the resident artists/owners, all the rooms and public spaces are a delight. Lovely, richly colored murals abound as do sidewalk mosaics of equally colorful interest. Rooms are large and comfortable and clean. Saving the best for last, it may be worth the trip (or vaux le voyage as la Guide would say) is the breakfast. They make their own granola, strawberry marmalade, yogurt, butter and several sourdough breads. Eggs are cooked to perfection as well. Fresh juice and fruit are, as everywhere in Ecuador, offered. And, as a bonus, the ions from the roaring river alongside and the dense vegetation's oxygenation make it a perfect place to sooth your lungs.
