Reastaurant set in a beautiful location ,beside the river at the steps of the majestic castle . Serving a varied menu of high quality local produce .Family friendly yet has a good buzz at weekends and later in the evening .full bar available
We had a nice meal at Franzinis. The restaurant offers Early Bird rates (though our meal was later in the evening). The cuisine is more continental that Irish and, in fact, included Mexican faire. The menu suited our carnivore and multiple pescatarians. Our orders included seafood pasta (heavy on the salmon; light on the prawns), croquette de brie (yummy), prawns and avocado salad (good, but think fancy, artistic arrangement, not so much a "salad"), garlic mushrooms (battered and fried, I've had better), and fajitas (husband was very impressed).
The restaurant was a short, but so serene walk through a park (large field with historic ruins!) and over the Boyne River just a short distance from White B&B (highly recommended).

My wife and I have been to 'Jules' several times before. There are great views of the magnificent medieval Trim castle. On this occasion we were in a group of seven. We went for the early bird menu (five courses for €25). The choice was limited, with a substantial supplement for steak.
Service was friendly and efficient but not rushed. For a bank holiday Friday, the restaurant was quiet. The food was good, the presentation excellent.

We stayed at the Crannmor B&B and learned about this restaurant from our hostess, Ann. It was a little tricky finding it, but was well worth the trip. Service begins with a drink served in the "waiting room." You place your order there and are given your table only when your food order is ready. The menu has some interesting options and each of us enjoyed their meal. This in not pub food! Service was excellent as was the food presentation.

New Gastro Restuarant O'Reillys in Brogans High Street, Trim serving locally sourced produce and catering for our Gluten free Customers, eat with your eyes and feast on the flavours, daily specials, express lunch Menu.
It is strikingly evident that Brogans have a very proficient chef at the helm nowadays. We've eaten there twice very recently and the standard and choice of food has been superb. There are a few restaurants around the town of Trim and O'Reillys Gastro Bar in Brogans is most definitely up there with the best. We eat out at least twice a week and have to say that we are more than satisfied with the food and service. Keep it up guys!

Java Juice is a cosy restaurant well known locally for our breakfasts and lunches. We also have an outside Seating area where you can eat alfresco
Nice coffee shop with good quality food. The lasagna and chips are lovely and very reasonable. Enjoy sitting outside in the sun having a coffee and scone. Friendly staff. One issue I have is that sometimes their drinks can be warm and no ice was available. Not very nice on a hot day.

Traditional Chinese and Asian cuisine with variety of menus and a fully stocked bar. All occasions are welcomed. Decorations maybe be provided on request.
Had table booked for 7 people for 6.30 were running a bit late but were seated about 6.50 with menus , placed our orders a while later. Waited... eventually coming up to 8pm our starters arrived. Were offered a drink on the house as way of apology declined at first but then we had 1. Disappointed overall- the poor service-food could have been better.
Have had much better meals in the Wau Sorry wont be in a hurry back

We found HHB in a downpour after visiting Trim Castle, and were SO glad we did. Almost immediately after walking in we were greeted by a sweet girl who hung up our wet coats and umbrellas, and within two minutes another sweet girl brought us some really excellent coffee. We had the "root vegetable soup" which was perfect (first soup we'd found on a menu in 4 days and the best lunch we'd had up to then) and of course had to order a go-box of their amazing-looking pastries (and later found out amazing-tasting too!). I also had to get some homemade elderflower cordial and elderberry-apple jam to take home to my family. Prices were excellent value. Bathroom was tiny but very clean. Charming place - wish I could bring everyone here from back home!

Welcome to StockHouse Restaurant Welcome to StockHouse Restaurant, in the shadow of the magnificent Trim Castle. Our restaurant is the result of four people with an avid love of good food, craic and value for money. Born out of eating out in various establishments both in Ireland and abroad the result "is not just a steakhouse but a restaurant that specialises in steak". Our aim is to provide our patrons with not just a memorable dining experience but a memorable night out! Head Chef, John and his team have one goal in mind and that is to provide consistently beautiful food at every serving. With our front of house crew you are in safe hands and they will do their very best to make sure all your needs are met as promptly and satisfactorily as possible. Our love of the historical town of Trim and indeed our beautiful country is evident everywhere in our restaurant from the early years featuring 'The Yellow Steeple' and 'Trim Castle', through to the filming of Braveheart and the Glory Years of Meath Football ... Check out our walls, they make for both great Reading and viewing!! Take time to have some banter with our floorstaff, they love nothing more but be warned, if you upset them too much you may find yourself confined to our in-house stocks!! And don't forget to keep an eye out for our resident mascot, 'Stocky' ... You'd never know when he might make an appearance. Enjoy, Carmel, Orla, Mick and Tom
I absolutely love this restaurant, the food and gins are always amazing!! We go here as often as we can, which isn't often enough!
