Great location by the lake front, but very noisy at night
Reviewed By 854pamsThis was a two night stopover to see Lake Bracciano and to break up our journey to north Tuscany. I was on a four week trip with a friend around the coast and this was our last spot. I would not like to visit June-August! The through road goes along the stretch where the hotel has its lake view rooms, so is busy and noisy for most of the day and evening. This hotel is a ‘diffuso’ in that its rooms are scattered around the town. Our room was up several steps and on two floors with a terrace leading from the bedroom. It was very clean and comfortable, but the shower had no pressure and the wifi router didn’t work. We were able to connect to the Reception wifi, so it wasn’t really a problem, more inconvenient. The hotel staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was served outside. Not a massive choice, but the croissants and cake were very nice. There are loads of good restaurants to choose from with lots right on the lake front. We really enjoyed Gens, right next to the hotel. There are some nice shops around the town, but it isn’t very big and we found two nights plenty to stay. As there are restaurants all along the lake front and right across the road from our room, there were a lot of youngsters hanging around until the early hours, which was very noisy. We were lucky to find street parking right across from our room. The hotel gives you a residents pass to display in your car and you only need pay 50 cents per day and display the ticket alongside the residents pass in the car. Worth a visit, but wouldn’t recommend more than a couple of nights.

Peace-perfect peace!

We found the perfect place at this campsite on the beautiful lake Bracciano. We had five cabins together,a few metres from the beach and lake,so ideal for post prandial drinks! The cabins were basic but very clean. The grounds and views were fantastic. The restaurant was simply SUPERB. I would have expected the standard of food and service we got in a 4-5 star hotel, not on a campsite. Considering there was only one chef, he did a simply amazing job! We couldn’t have wished for better attention. All the staff were amazing and couldn’t have been more helpful. Reception were very accommodating and the staff in the bar kept us supplied with our regular “take away” coffees! Special mention must go to Stella, whom we kept busy with our large orders! She was truly amazing! A big thankyou to everyone for making our family holiday so wonderful! SUGGESTIONS—- would be helpful to stick a few things in the Cabins, like more toilet paper, washing up liquid, drying cloths. Would be beneficial if the bar sold basics such as tea, coffee, milk, etc as none of us had a car. The cabins which sleep five would not be suitable for five adults.

Clean rooms and nice lake views
Reviewed By Sally BWe stayed for a few days - the views to lake from hotel are good and the room was clean - would have been nice to have some kind of mattress topper or even mattress protector as quite hard. We had a deluxe room but shower is very small - but for a 3 star hotel it was as we expected so very good. Shame that our balcony did not get the sun at any time of the day - as it was late summer so worth checking if that is what you would like. There is no restaurant or breakfast room as advertised at front of the hotel and you are supplied with lots of 'sweet' pre-packaged items for breakfast and just 2 coffee pods. Would recommend you go to local shop to buy cereal etc as they do supply a carton of milk each day. The managers Fabio and Marcello are both really friendly and all in all a nice stay, with friendly staff. Location is good for the 40 or so restaurants in the area.

Very Good B&B
Reviewed By AwordyA surprisingly contemporary, family run B&B. Very traditional looking from the outside but the rooms are very modern and very clean. I think we were the first to check in that day so we were shown round three rooms and we got to choose. We had the room to the rear as it had its own private access, ensuite and access to the kitchen. Wi-Fi isn't great in this room however. We had a great nights sleep, the bed being very comfortable memory foam mattress. The breakfast spread was quite something! A full table of cakes, biscuits, fruit.....ideal if you have a sweet tooth for breakfast. If not - like me - you can have the yogurt, fruit and cerial. The owner is in the kitchen with you for the whole time and she will make you hot drinks. Parking for guests on the road straight outside the B&B. Seems to be cash only for room payment - no cards accepted! Would recommend for a night or two in a great little town.

Great hotel with the best cocktails
Reviewed By Fabienne DWe stayed for two nights, great choice. Nice and specious rooms, the bar downstairs does very good cocktails and nice paninis and snacks. We’ve had cocktails here every evening, before going to dinner elsewhere. Breakfast is simple but nice: some bread, cheese, (dried) ham, sweets and a juice. More than enough for us! Great service as well, very kind staff.

So that one may enjoy this wonderful atmosphere of uncontaminated beauty, seven apartments are available: Five composed of living room with kitchenette, one bedroom and a bath room. Two apartments, one equipped for the disabled, composed of living room with kitchenette, bathroom and two bedrooms. These two apartments also have a fireplace so as to create a warm and cozy atmosphere in all periods of the year.

The staff is extremely nice and accompanied, I’m vegan and they were friendly and find perfect alternatives for me! The pool is nice, with a garden area. You can reach the lake in less than 10 minutes. And the prices are incredible, great value for the accommodation and the food!! Recommended! My personal advice for the owners is to believe in your place more! It’s a gem!!! With a little more details it could reach a really high level!!

The wedding itself was in a venue around 30 minutes away but this was perfect place to stay for a big group for a few days surrounding the celebrations. Our group was composed of all ages - a young child to grandparents and everyone seemed to have a great time here. We had a delicious meal in the restaurant the night before the wedding - the staff were excellent, super helpful and very friendly. The morning of the wedding was spent relaxing around the amazing pool in glorious surroundings. The following day we had a delicious BBQ - again the staff were excellent and it all went seamlessly. While there is not much but nature in the immediate vicinity there are a few local towns which were lovely to drive to to visit - Trevignano and Bracciano especially. Overall we had a great few days here and we look forward to visiting again. It is perfect for a couple, family or as part of a larger group.

A lovely spot to chill out n relax

Well this place did the trick as it’s s beautful serene quiet n absolutely picturesque ! It’s so good for the soul n space to gather ourselves n zen! It’s a slightly off the main road but country roads is a fun ride due to the narrowness n just observing how there are no rules ! This place is clean stylish secure n we even had breakfast in a train - yup you read it a train which is gorgeous n on its property as a feature ! Great for groups
Reviewed By casstemaEach room is like a 1 bedroom apartment with a private full bathroom, living room and kitchenette. The A/C was great! (Even though the owners give you a bit of a hard time about using A/C.) Pool was amazing and the guys working the espresso bar at the pool are awesome. It's about a 10 minute drive to any of the restaurants/activities, so you'll definitely need to have a car there. We were there with a large group for a wedding and it was perfect because it was like we all had our own little apartments in this complex. The only thing we really had issues with was the mattresses being quite old and uncomfortable.

Built deck-like fashion in white and yellow, the house shines out over the western end of the engaging and beguiling promenade of the utterly charming Trevignano Romano. Ten strides from the house and you're in the clean, clear and warm water of Lake Bracciano, while over the back of the house looms a perfect, pine-covered mountain. Stunning views all round then. In addition our apartment came with a sheltered garden, patio and orange tree under which many a lunch was enjoyed. The accommodation was modern, smartly decorated with paintings, and had an excellent kitchen, luxurious bathroom, large bedroom and a wide, comfortable lounge with sofa-bed and large flat-screen tv. Bags of cupboard space, too.A colourful breakfast of scrambled eggs, cold meats, cheese, pastries, croissants,yoghurt, fruit, toast, tarts and cakes - all supervised by the mother of owner, Roberta - was taken in a panoramic breakfast room. It all made for a most relaxing stay.
