Frenchman's Reef

Right on the Frenchman's Beach in Treasure Beach is a Beaautiful restaurant, lounge, and gazebo thats serves, burger, pizza and just about anything you want to eat. You will also find regular Jamaican food, thats if we can call Jamaican Food regular. The owner is the son of the people that own The Golden Sands Guest house, and its right next door.

Right by the sea and just right for a swim this could be described as cheap and cheerful, but I prefer to say simple food at very good prices. I can recommend the Beefburger with Bacon, Cheese and Fried Egg with French Fries at J$950 (£6) and the Jerk Chicken and Fries at J$700 (£4.40). The Cocktails at J$500 are a great alternative to Red Stripe. And best of all the service is so so friendly.

Jack Sprat Seafood and Pizza

We went to Jack Sprat's almost every day while in Treasure Beach. The relaxed staff, though busy, are friendly and helpful. Seating on the dock area is very pleasant...you can watch the pelicans diving for fish, swimmers in the water, or people on the beach.
My favorite: the excellent fish soup, full of fish, potatoes and pumpkin. My husband had the very good chicken burger or hamburger with good hot fries!
The snapper plate, which I had prepared Escoviche, was delicious, perfectly cooked. The serving was so big it could have easily been 2 meals!
We LOVE Jack Sprats!

If you want a true Jamaican experience, this friendly, authentic café is the perfect place for breakfast. Gently bustling with locals, playing on guitar or just chilling or chatting, you really feel part of the community here. Just expect very long waits for food, when it’s busy - of you can embrace this as part of the social experience, it ends up as most the fun.

I went to this seaside restaurant on a date. Joycelyn prepared some fish her husband caught in the morning, and we were hooked. She has a gift when it comes to making traditional Jamaican cuisine. We came back everyday we were at Treasure Beach. Don't miss out on her coconut rundown. It's amazing!

We ordered soup for starters and thereafter shrimp and lobster meals. The food was delicious and well presented.
However, water arrived with no glasses nor did anyone returned to checked whether everything was ok.
We had to ask for the bill and not realising service charge was added the waitress was tipped. One feels service charge should be optional and should be down to the additional service receive. Also I am strongly against service charge added to the bill as it's known that it's the
restauranter / owner who gets it and not their staff.
Improvement needed on customer service.

We ordered take-out one evening based on reviews in Trip Advisor. The Owners were so gracious when we stopped in earlier in the day to check out the restaurant. They were hard at work preparing for dinner. The selection is a variety of local produce, beautifully seasoned and filled with balanced texture. Leftovers were had for breakfast ! Large portions !

Some of the best coffee in the world comes from Jamaica, but believe it or not it's hard to come across a decent cup of java.... Well, that was until we discovered Hold a vibz!
Great French press, Blue Mtn coffee along with excellent sandwiches, fresh juices and smoothies! Tuna was a favorite of mine.

Was highly recommended but was not impressed. The food took 1+hours to get. Was warned because we wanted grilled lobster would be at least 30 minutes but was much longer. Food was beautifully presented but rice cold and dry and lobster dry because no sauce or butter provided.

Wonderful host/chef/storyteller.
The food was fresh, very tasty, and enjoyed in a relaxed atmosphere while watching the world go by. Coffee was great, and the fresh squeezed orange juice tart and refreshing.
I especially enjoyed both Akee and Saltfish, as well as the mixed Callaloo and Spanish omelette. So much I had to go back and have it again the next day.
A great local business that deserves cherishing.
