Top 10 Tours in Kingston, Kingston Parish

May 22, 2022 Franklyn Hardiman

Far from the north coast resort towns, Kingston is Jamaica at its most authentic, a sprawling city of contrasts spread between the east coast and the Blue Mountains. Kingston's diversity is reflected in its disparate neighborhoods, from the wealthy northern suburbs to the less affluent downtown. Travelers can discover the spirit of One Love at the Bob Marley Museum, or sample delicious ice cream at Devon House. Nearby, the former capital of Spanish Town offers insight into the area's history.

We suspect that the merchant transferred our business to individual driver as our driver is just a driver, not completely sure what was included in the package. The driver is friendly and even took us to a place for Jamaica food that he also got his lunch. Although it cost $5 for a few pieces of cooked bananas, we were just happy to see more of Jamaica. The price we paid felt consider high now that we know how much the tickets and the toll roads are ....

Let me start by saying, in the age of COVID, the process of getting through customs enforcement and health screening at the airport can range from 45 minutes to 3hours. In my case, I was stuck inside for about 2 hours ???????? Fortunately for me, I had Everton Peart as my chauffeur. He was on-time but waited patiently for me to exit Norman Manley. In all the chaos, he kept communication channels open and was very understanding. He is professional, courteous and a great conversationalist. I felt so at ease with his service (if you’ve ever witnessed the mad driving on Jamaican roads, you would understand) that I went ahead and secured his service throughout my trip. If you want a careful, professional, efficient, cost-effective driver, this is your guy. Top notch quality service!!! Thanks Everton!!
