Welcome to Banana Sunset :) we offer Seafood, Thai food Cambodian food vegetarian food, drinks, cocktails, wine ,with amazing sunset view and live music sometime. :).
So the sunset at Banana Sunset is really nice but storm Pabuk has apparently broken both viewing terraces who are currently blocked. You can still go for a sundowner, and to meet the travellers who stay in the resort. The menu is average, nothing extraordnary and moderately priced.

KOH MAK ISLAND RESTAURANT is a new destination for those who like Thai-style ambience with sea-view and spacious terraces. The kitchen offers original Thai-food and the new European management will treat you well with European dishes like pasta and steaks.
This place has a great view and the food to match it. We ate there with 7 people and choose a wide variety of dishes that where available on the menu. Everything tasted delicious. One of the best restaurants on the island.

We passed this restaurant a couple of times and judging by its appearance, it looked pretty average and we werenât expecting anything special. As it was around the corner from the villa, we headed there for coffee one morning. Coffee tasted good (Iâd say European standard) and were pleasantly surprised to discover their delicious smoothies and fluffy pancakes. They sure seem to know what theyâre doing!

We enjoyed some great seafood at this restaurant and would certainly go back for more. The huge prawns we had were well cooked and tasty. That came at a premium of 275 baht per but was definitely worth the money. Highly recommended.
