We found this a really chilled out bar next to the Lazy Day resort, there was always mellow music playing, the guys who worked there were good fun and chilled out, the service could be a bit slow but are you really in a hurry!! They have a small but good selection of cocktails which I enjoyed and in the evenings they have a barbeque with fresh sea food which we really enjoyed. But if nothing else its a really great little spot to chill out at sun set with a drink and some mellow music right by the beach.

We like the lady here, she is super friendly and energetic. One time I mentioned I would like to eat durian. She invited me to eat with her the next day because the durian was not ready that day. We did not make it the next day. But one more day later, she went on her bike and found us and gave two durian to us. We were so touched.

We passed this restaurant a couple of times and judging by its appearance, it looked pretty average and we werenât expecting anything special. As it was around the corner from the villa, we headed there for coffee one morning. Coffee tasted good (Iâd say European standard) and were pleasantly surprised to discover their delicious smoothies and fluffy pancakes. They sure seem to know what theyâre doing!

at the moment the steakhouse will be renovated new. check out sports bar - 2km further inlands, excellent cheese cake, good motorbikes for rent, german service, nice pool billiard and any question about where to go on koh mak ask the boss, he is an experienced expad and fantastic german baker.soon he will have dormitories to rent. espresso coffee could be stronger but the cheesecake is unbeatable allover thailand.Thanks a lot & see you next timeKind regards from Koh Mak& have a nice day

nice place, midrange kitchen prices, you have to ask for prices in advance to avoid surprisings - like for my pasta i had been offered parmesan cheese which had been billed with an extra 20 baht - the closeby gym is compare to the mainland with 59 baht and here 150 baht expensive.
