Reviewed By Chris OWe stayed here, somewhat out of season, as we wanted to see the Puglia area of Italy and were blessed with clear sunny skies every day. The hotel was a little fewer stars than we are used to but in terms of value for money and overall experience was very good. The hotel is very welcoming with a high standard of decor and, whilst English is not their forte, we managed to communicate quite well and they were always very pleased to be of service. The room was clean, tidy and fairly well appointed with a great sea view and balcony. Fresh towels also arrived every day! There is a TV, with many channels but none of them are English, so brush up on your Italian or forget TV for a week! Well located just next to the seafront it is a good base if you want to go around Puglia, which is a delightful place to be. Parking was easy except for the bank holiday when we used the hotel underground car park. The restaurant was relatively basic, in keeping with 3 star hotels worldwide but the helpfulness of the staff was better than your average 3 star. The cost per night was good and whilst it is not in the same style as most of the hotels we stay at, I can say it was one of the best for value. One tip, our satnav had a few issues with the roads very close to the hotel, trying to send us the wrong way up one way streets but the easy way to find the hotel is to just drive along the sea front and look for the huge sign!

Typical Italian breakfast with Puglian pasticiotti, biscotti, fruits and coffee. We stayed in a room upstairs with access via a nice terrace overlooking the village. Walking distance to the beach and town centre. Tasty seafood places nearby

Le petit déjeuner annoncé est une pure arnaque Il faut faire 400m pour se retrouver dans un salon de thé où vous n avez droit qu a 1 seule viennoiserie , du jus d orange en bouteille car les oranges pressées ne sont pas comprises dans la formule et un tout petit expresso!!! La demie pension avec un ticket pour aller dans un restaurant précis situé a 300m est tout de même acceptable Mais le pire est cette odeur insupportable d égouts dans toute la zone……. Je suis souvent dans la critique positive mais là pour le prix c est abusé ……… la seule note positive est l acceuil

Beautiful Salento
Reviewed By highwallWe spent 5 nights at this perfectly situated B&B in Torre San Giovanni. From the moment we arrived we felt very welcome. The rooms are above the restaurant that runs the B &B and are very clean, comfortable, and well equipped. Breakfast is served in the restaurant and was very plentiful. The plates kept coming just when we thought that that we were finished eating. We enjoyed being able to walk to restaurants and shops. The beach is a few blocks away and an easy walk. We loved the time that we spent here and will miss it, especially the gracious people of this area. We would not hesitate to return to this lovely well run B&B. Grazie!

Reviewed By Elisabetta AAbbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura dal 15 al 19 agosto; i proprietari sono dei bravissimi padroni di casa, noi eravamo sprovvisti di macchina e si sono prestati oltre al dovuto a portarci alle spiagge che non sono molto distanti, ma che raggiungere a piedi con le temperature elevate del periodo e il movimento dovuto alla ressa del ferragosto sarebbe stato disagevole. Posizione ottima per raggiungere le spiagge, il paese e le località limitrofe. La struttura e le camere sono nuove , pulite e ben curate. La colazione servita al tavolo molto buona e di qualità. Un grazie di cuore a Tommaso e a Mariella! Da ritornare e consigliare.....

A piedi si raggiunge una piccola spiaggetta molto carina mentre con la macchina si possono raggiungere le numerose spiagge del Salento, una più bella dell'altra. Soggiorno molto piacevole, ci ritorneremo sicuramente.

Reviewed By mary772016Abbiamo alloggiato per qualche giorno in questo b&b scovato all'ultimo e per caso e siamo rimasti piacevolmente sopresi dalle camere spaziose e pulite e dalla posizione strategica! Immerso nella campagna salentina, consente di passare dei giorni in totale tranquillità! Il mare è a due km circa e si raggiunge a piedi o in bici. Consigliato per chi vuole davvero staccare la spina e godersi la natura e il mare in totale tranquillità. Il 'quid pluris' è offerto dalla piscina, sempre aperta e con la temperatura giusta dell'acqua... una vera attrazione per grandi e piccini! Le mie figlie avrebbero voluto anche dormirci in piscina!!!! Consigliatissimo, ci ritorneremo sicuramente!

Nice price and totally comfy, we can recommend this place for the traveller, who wants to be taken care of!
