If u r looking for a stylish resto go for it but be ready for bitter deception:
- To few waitresses to take care of all clients means that run among the table will not be enough
- what for the palm pc of waitresses if all orders are processed wrongly in the kitchen and you get 1 pizza instead of four?
- why do mot bring all drinks at ones? Be careful: if you try the chance to order sodas instead of water be ready for 40 mins wait in spite of your double reminding to waitresses
- just average quality food and it is pity cause the menu it is very trendy
- expensive!
Put all cons together and just do the right thing: turn the corner and get a very good pasta or pizza in a less stylish and trendy resto!

During our two-week stay in Torre San Giovanni, we stopped in many mornings for coffee and pastries. Both were excellent, especially when enjoyed on the well-shaded patio. Don't miss the pasticiotti, amazing cream-filled almond cakes. You can also buy pastries to take away. The woman who usually served us was friendly, and patient with our faltering Italian. Be aware that table service on the patio can take awhile during busy times, but once they have your order, the service is always swift. We also stopped by one evening for some of their artisanal gelato, which was delicious.

We went here for lunch and it was a strange experience!
First of all, the dishes we'd initially wanted were all unavailable - even though it wasn't that busy!
Then, although the servers had limited English we thought we'd explained enough of what we'd ordered!
But, when our food arrived, it wasn't what we'd ordered and dishes didn't turn up!
They were very apologetic, but we just saw the funny side of it!
The food was nice, but nothing special and the service was good, despite the misunderstandings!

Went here twice, and on each occasion enjoyed ourselves. The Antipasto Mare was exceptional, Tagliata was nicely cooked and with a decent bottle of wine at €63 for two, not a bad price. If you sit outside, insect repellent is advisable despite the citronella candles.

We found it just because we saw it walking on the street. They placed my friends and me on a table with no plates, glasses and other things like forks,.. We asked for pizza and they told us to wait 30 minutes, so suggested us to get something as starters. So what? We asked and they told us. We have everything they answered. Results: a small french fries dish and another with corcquttes. Finally we had a pizza (brick oven) ..... not so good. 9€ each. Not suggested.

Da alcuni giorni provavamo a consumare una cena tipica salentina senza uscire dai ristoranti, pienamente soddisfatti.
Qui ci siamo, finalmente goduti una serata in totale relax, consumando prodotti originali e DOC. Location spartana e senza alcuna pretesa, sconsigliata a mancati gourmet e falsi buongustai...
Il tagliere abbondantissimo con salumi e formaggi eccellenti. I primi, ruspanti, generosi, con pasta fresca condita molto bene ( i minchiareddi), Le polpette, rustiche e veramente gustose. Buon servizio, buon prezzo, buono tutto.

Weren't twice and tried everything possible including the Japanese Kobe which left is speechless. In fact any meat on the menu is of top level and finely cooked. No doubt the best meet restaurant in my all life. Service was very kind, the owner is very knowledgeable about meat and can give the right suggestions. Even the kid's menu was great! Can't wait to go back!

Everything is funtastic. Starts from fine sand, shallow cost and clearest sea any weather. Sea food was very testy. I had grilles sea bream, my spouse octopus salad and we shared grilled vegetables. Lemon Breher bear is very refreshing. Very friendly and helpful staff. Big thanks to Eleonora.
Very reasonable prices for sun beds, umbrellas and shower.
