The day trip to the capital Ljubljana was awesome. Walking around the town center made me want to stay there for at least a few more days. The weather wasn’t that brilliant, but we saw all the main sites. The architecture, climate and landscape are so different from where I was staying on the coast. It's like visiting another country.

We spent a nice day riding the Golovec hill in Ljubljana. The tour was perfect and last minute (we just called in the afternoon for a tour on the other day) organized. Tadej knows the place like his pocket. He adapted the tour to our level. So we had fun, could ride some natural single trails and also the man made runs. Tadej helped building them so he knew exactly which run is best for our level. We got very good rental bikes in super condition! Thanx for this experience!

I spent the day travelling around with my guide Michelle, and she made the whole experience something I will never forget. She took me to see many different sites from Lake Bohinj to Waterfall Savica to Lake Bled. However the main stops on the way were not all there was to see, it was as much about the journey as it was the destinations. Slovenia has some incredible sites to behold and the scenary all throughout the day left me blown away. Driving through the deepest vallies and up the tallest mountains, it was a real adventure the whole way. Due to the time of year and current events, we basically had every spot to ourselves without the hussle and bussle of noisy tourist spots and the benefit of this was how peaceful everything was. Michelle is an incredibly friendly and kind person, full of knowledge and experience of Slovenia that she shares with you in an enthusastic and engaging way, she is perfect company for the trip. This is an amazing day out which I highly reccomend to anyone visiting Slovenia. I will absolutely be coming back to stay at Lake Bohinj next year for a relaxing camping holiday. Thank you Michelle for touring me around Slovenia during my stay here. It has been one of the best ( or even, the best ) experience I have had travelling over the past few years.
