Bank holiday, most restaurants were closed and this was the only one opened. When entered I went perplexed because the dining room was full of elderlies, few 3-4 generation families but majority seniors... the reason is that this is a restaurant-pizzeria with cheap prices and huge servings... we got a pasta with amatriciana sauce (4,50), seafood pasta (8,00), four seasons pizza (5,00) food were edible and pretty OK (classic cooking style but not gourmet), portions were so big that we couldn't finish them, making this a perfect place for a glutton if looking to spend little... rest of the expenses service charges (1,20 per person), bottle of water (1,20), soft drinks (2,00) desserts (3,50), coffee (1,20) very reasonable. I can imagine that this is a favorite place for eat and watch a match (big flat screen in mid of the restaurant). I don't think workers here are proficient in English language but if looking something where locals go (big food little money), clean toilets, fast service and not fussy about pampering services, this is the place.Dear CustomerThank you very much for your positive reviewI hope to see you again in future in our restaurant.About my waiters none of them speak english but I'm always present to assist non italian speakers. In Casale Monferrato-follow the signs from the main street-discover a charming cellar restaurant serving excellent beef. The antipasti were also very good and, like the main course, very generous. If you are broad-minded go into the back room of the restaurant and look at the graphic art displayed on the walls!The wine list is very good and the service, on Saturday lunchtime,was excellent.

I was taken for the third time by colleagues to eat and i always wanted to write something and always forgot. Cassale is nothing much as a city , a 30.000 people typical Italian city somewhere before Alesandria , not a touristic place to visit. But you know how it is , its always the place where the locals hanging out where you eat best.I am not going to say much....just go if you are in the area. You will love it.

We wondered why this place was packed with locals, and found out why. By 8pm on a Wednesday every table was full. Superb seafood and porcini mushrooms. We watched as most tables started with the entree of 5 styles of seafood, followed by overflowing plates of mussels. The plate of cooked Porcini mushrooms were delectable,.Mountains of food. However we are not sure if things were lost in translation as the bill was much more than expected and given as one figure!!,

Sono stata una volta a prendere la pizza d'asporto e devo dire che nonostante i 10 minuti per arrivare a casa, la pizza era ancora buona e croccante. Tornerò sicuramente.

Starting at 3 euros for a Margherita, you wonât find anything cheaper on Earth. You might argue thatâs not the best pizza, not made with the best ingredients, but itâs a very decent one and in my opinion one of the best in town. Definitely recommended especially if you are on a tight budget !

Babette it is a charming restuarant with a couples of rooms in a wonderful location between wineyards. We had a wonderful lunch at Ferragosto sitting outside in the garden. The food was excellent, piedmontese cuisine but with an innovative touch. Here it is well know for champagne and indeed we had a wonderful bottle from a small producer and then an excellent Grignolino Superiore (local wine of this part of Monferrato). The owner is kind and friendly, good service so if you are closed to Casal Monferrato I really this charming restaurant.
