Were there recently for lunch and dinner while staying at hotel Spinerola. Very nice and cosy restaurant with excellent food and wine. The restaurant was rather pricey compared with other restaurants and for dinner we couldn't eat outside due to lots of gnats. My husband and I were staying at Palazzo Paleologi, the hotel where this beautiful restored restaurant is located. The restaurant is upstairs in the old converted monastery with a beautiful view over the vineyards of Piemonte. The Palazzo and the restaurant are family run and our hosts could not have done more for us - even allowing our lovely labrador Lucy to join us in the stunning restaurant.We opted for the tasting menu which was incredibly reasonably priced for 7 courses and I can honestly say I have never had better risotto in my life! The staff were happy to make my tasting menu wholely vegetarian even though this was not a usual option. Each course was beautifully prepared with local produce and the freshness just sprung from the plate. the wine list is fabulous with lots of local options to sample. We even finished our meal off with some home made limoncello and amaretto.If in Piemonte you MUST visit this charming restaurant. First class.

Very professional owner and staff. The owner is an expert in decor so the furnishings give the impression of being an upmarket showroom. Nice atmosphere in the evening with tables outside. Generally very busy. Have been going there for years with friends for an aperative and snacks. Definately worth trying.

We visited this place for the second time last night because the first time we have a good impression. The food was great, though, a little bit under seasoned. The service is another story. I found a hair when I bit into the breadstick. It was quite disgusting because it is not like the hair fell into the dish, but the hair is actually inside it. We informed the waitress and she said sorry. And later we informed the manager, he said he knew and did nothing. It was a disappointment because I could have given at least 4 rating. Hair in food, not cool!!!

We wondered why this place was packed with locals, and found out why. By 8pm on a Wednesday every table was full. Superb seafood and porcini mushrooms. We watched as most tables started with the entree of 5 styles of seafood, followed by overflowing plates of mussels. The plate of cooked Porcini mushrooms were delectable,.Mountains of food. However we are not sure if things were lost in translation as the bill was much more than expected and given as one figure!!,

First time in this beautiful location!The Treville Palace is astonishing...and breathtaking...The main staircase is terrific and majestic!Staff is super polite and the chef.... is great...giving you tips and hints about each single chosen course...The fois gras was great.... and also my goose roasted thigh!Try it!Itâs actually the best in town!

This restaurant in the small village of Treville is just wonderful. We were a very large group (about 30), something which would have been a challenge even for a large restaurant. The service was excellent and the food absolutely delicious. And as a large group of foreigner invading their wonderful little restaurant, they made us feel very welcome indeed. And to complete the excellent food, the restaurant has stunning views of the surrounding countryside. A must if you are staying at Villa Mimma next door and definitely worth the journey if you are staying elsewhere.

Babette it is a charming restuarant with a couples of rooms in a wonderful location between wineyards. We had a wonderful lunch at Ferragosto sitting outside in the garden. The food was excellent, piedmontese cuisine but with an innovative touch. Here it is well know for champagne and indeed we had a wonderful bottle from a small producer and then an excellent Grignolino Superiore (local wine of this part of Monferrato). The owner is kind and friendly, good service so if you are closed to Casal Monferrato I really this charming restaurant.
