Luckily I had read the reviews about this place being next to the gas station, and spotted it while leaving Gambassi terme. Had a great fried fish platter and some good wine. Too windy to sit out, but good view from terrace.

Due to a public holiday all restaurants were packed. We were a group of eight. They opened an extra room for us so that we could have dinner. Good quality food and friendly service. They warned us that service was going to be slow due to the holiday, but it was no issue for us.

We visited this restaurant for lunch on our last day in Castelfiorentino. The chef explained the menu in detail and upon seeing that we wanted to have fish and seafood, he offered to put together antipasti and primi, some of which were not even on the menu. The food was excellent and the portions were ample. There were 3 types of dessert on the menu and we ordered the pannacotta and chocolate millefoglie to share between the four of us, having previously gone through three courses. We were wowed as the chef served the chocolate fondante soon after, despite us not having ordered it. This was simply divine and what's more, it was not added to the bill!Definitely one of the best meals we had whilst on holiday in Tuscany.

i visited with my parents when we were in San Gimignano , the food and wine was wonderful, friendly and attentive staff and a really good atmosphere. i recommend this restaurant to everyone and we would certainly go back. Graize mille, Buon Natale e Felice Anno Nove Kelly

Prenotato in anticipo. Ã il locale che mancava nella zona. Non la solita cucina. Piatti particolari elaborati e ben presentati. Abbiamo scelto il pesce. Buonissimo. Il servizio perfetto. Gustato tutto con calma in ambiente tranquillo e soprattutto senza TV! Complimenti alla cucina e a tutto il servizio. Prezzi giusti. Bravi! Sicuramente da tornarci.

Arriving at Certaldo on a Saturday evening without a booking we were relieved to find this pizzeria and even more so when we saw the pipping hot pizza coming out from the oven at the front. This is a place for pizza and the locals seem to think so. We also tried sauté mussels and clams and they were good and very inexpensive. Decor is simple and neighbour style but one eats well here.

This place is great to have a low prices dinner. The owners are very children friendly.The quality of the food is great and fresh especially when you compare it to the price (5,- for a take away pizza).The restaurant lies in a commercial area and is more a practical big room then a romantic plance. It is not the place for a candlelight dinner but great if the children are hungry and a bit louder ;).We had some Antipasti, Pizza and Pasta and were happy with everything. The other day we just ordered some Pizza to take away (took 10 minutes).grazie

If youâre looking for an *authentic* experience, Iâd highly recommend this place. Their Menu ranges between various kinds of food, the ingredients of which are locally sourced (and one can agree that the Tuscan soil truly does wonders to food), and which incorporate various elements of traditional Tuscan, and overall Italian recipes, mixed with the outstanding creativity of the Chef. The wine is fantastic, the location is jaw-dropping (romantic + scenic), and the food is DEFINITELY worth its price and more. The service is kind and the atmosphere is welcoming. You can sit outside and marvel at how the traffic, including long buses, manges the tight streets and corners. We had coffee and ice -cream - they have some interesting creations, even if a bit pricy. Toilets were very pleasant.
