Visited the restaurant in early September and we were well looked after by the manager Stevie Petrov who explained all the dishes. The starters and main course were all prepared fresh and were of the highest quality.
The price of the food was also reasonable with a two course dinner with drinks for the four of us coming to 76 leva.
We will definetely return in the new year and enjoy more of Stevie's and his staff's hospitality
Note:- they no longer sell the Argentinian steaks as Stevie explained there was not the demand for such an expensive menu item.

Glineni Garneta is a restaurant that is aimed at local shoppers. It has an extensive menu in Bulgarian that is illustrated throughout, so in spite of the language it is very easy to choose from. There are pages of lunch dishes, most of them warm Bulgarian dishes, but there are also sandwiches and icecreams.
All in all a good place for lunch or a simple dinner.

Don't go there! Food was terrible. Prices are quite high. I felt cheated. Lamb soup was made of intestants -- not written anywhere. The Shopska salat was no fresh and what they call parlenka is just some microwaved bun with cheese on top.

One of the waiters was talkinkg on the phone while he was serving us, the other was throwing the dishes on the table. The food wasn't fresh.

This restaurant hide in between the small streets of the center of the city is amazing. So nice, so clean. Great Place, and the food is tasty. Definitely recommend. its better to make a reservation before going.

I was attending a business dinner hosted by the Mayor of Gabrovo in this restaurant and you presume a place must be good when some of the most important members of the local government and community are regulars there. I can say with confidence that the restaurant did not disappoint.
The food was nice, the service was excellent, our waiter spoke English, which is not a given in a town like Gabrovo, and the atmosphere was very pleasant.
Keep in mind though that the place is small, so finding a table is by no means guaranteed.
