Wild Wing Lindsay

Last night was our first trip to Wild Wings. We ordered the Double which comes with fries, carrot and celery sticks. The waitress asked if we would like to upgrade the fries to onion rings for an extra $2.00 and we said sure. When we got home I opened the onion rings, there were 4 1/2 onion rings in the box. I thought someone must have made a mistake, pay $2.00 EXTRA and you end up with 4 1/2 onion rings for two people? I took a picture of it and went back in to see them again this morning and the waitress assured me that when you substute the onion rings and pay the extra $2.00 that's all you get, they are sold by the weight. $29.00 for 18 chicken wings 6 pieces of carrot, 6 pieces of celery and 4 1/2 (yes 1/2) onion rings. That was our first trip, it was also our last trip!

After renovations, The Fiddlers Green has really improved the atmosphere here. The bar has all of your favorite beers on tap and a full drink menu. The waitstaff was very attentive and checked back with us frequently. They have really enhanced the menu with a variety of meals that will appeal to everyone. Much more here than just fried up bar food. I had possibly the best hamburger I have found in Lindsay, trumping my previous burger review. My other half had a roast beef au jus that was to die for, she ate every last bit and really enjoyed it.Well worth dropping in for lunch or dinner and a drink. My only wish is that they add Guinness to their beer offerings.I will be going back.

We went entered the restaurant at 8:10, at 8:16 the hostest greater us and the waitress walked by and said to mention the time. We were told that the kitchen closed soon and that they close at 9. The attitude of the staff was that they were trying to get us to leave. It was our first time trying there and we will not be returning. It's absurd for a pub-style establishment to close at 9pm on a Thursday in a student town and the service was rather rude and dismissive.Thank you for taking the time to comment on your experience, Hailey. Although some pub-style establishments may remain open later, we are a craft brewery and closing at 9 pm (or even earlier) on a weeknight is common in the industry.

We like The Grand a lot. They have a great menu. Loads of choices and prices are reasonable compared to other similar style restaurants. Our recent visit was to celebrate a birthday. We all ended up ordering the Haddock Fish’n Chips as it was the special of the day. Great price and were delicious with generous portions and came with coleslaw. Highly recommend their garlic bread with cheese too. Best I have ever had in a restaurant. Service was friendly and attentive as always. They even provided the birthday boy with a special dessert that was on the house. Looking forward to our return.
