Reviewed By J WI believe the woman and her husband that we dealt with were wonderful, very responsive, they went way beyond what a regular employee would do to make us comfortable. They answer the phone immediately at any time. The place was very clean. This is a budget type motel and it was not cheap because we got the unit with two beds. I think they were double beds. They were in two different rooms but I could still hear noises from the front room because there is an opening over the door between the two rooms to allow air circulation from the a/c in the bedroom. The rooms are small and decor is plain but pleasant. This place has a nice kitchen which could be really handy if you wanted one. The dining table is on wheels which surprised me. It had 4 hard back chairs and no really comfortable chairs or sofa but that was not a problem for us. They had all the amenities like shampoo, facial tissues, nice towels including towels at the pool. The outdoor pool was wonderful, clean, nice variety of depths more than the usual shallow hotel pools and warm enough, much better temperature than I have found in large chain hotels. Lots of nice lounge chairs. We never heard the neighbors. There were two nice televisions, one in each of the two rooms. It would be nice if we could lock the windows opened just partway for security reasons because the outside air was lovely at night and this is on the ground floor in a motel layout where we could park right in front of our unit. Very handy. The a/c went off and on and made noise. But we did not hear road noise. Our unit was back off the road. One bed had a night stand which was nice, the other bed did not. Overall this was an impressive place and would be great for families.

Lakeview combines quality and affordability in a quiet location. We are close to the beach and all amenities. Our heated salt water pool is a summer hit as are the barbecues and picnic area. Families love our spacious one and two bedroom suites. Pets are not accepted. As of October 1,2020 no smoking, vaping, or cannabis use will be permitted anywhere on property (including parking area).

Reviewed By RGlenn88I guess one could fairly say it is a diamond in the rough. The rooms are a good size, good location, clean and comfortable. It has outdoor barbecues for people wanting to cook their own food which is nice. It kind of is a large courtyard where the vehicles are parked but people get out of their rooms and socialize there. Really kind of a nice change!!

Welcome to the Avalon Inn, located in the heart of downtown Osoyoos, British Columbia. Just across the street from Tim Horton's, and a five minute walk away from the shores of Osoyoos Lake, this family owned motel can assure you a good night's rest. Although we are located just off Main Street / Highway 3, we offer one of the quietest accommodations in the community as each classically furnished room is soundproofed for your privacy and peace of mind.Here you have access to free Wi-Fi internet, cable TV with free movie channels, and a refrigerator and coffee maker in each room. We are within just two minutes of walking distance from a number of restaurants in the area - everything from casual to fine dining - though if you plan on creating your own home-cooked meals, we have fully equipped kitchen suites just for you. There are also barbecue facilities located in our lush courtyard, where you can lay back in the sun or relax under the shade of the maple trees while listening to birds chirping away cheerfully. Most of our rooms are pet-friendly, as long as you have non-shedding/non-allergenic pets! Rattlesnake Canyon Amusement Park is less than 3 km away, and the Osoyoos Golf & Country Club is a 5 minute drive from the motel. We don't have much of a lake-view of Osoyoos Lake from our balcony suites, although we do have good views of Peanut Lake which is quite close to the motel.

Reviewed By WestcoastMomRecently stayed for two nights with my dog. Location is great, right on Main St a few blocks up from the beach. Everything you need within easy walking distance. The room was clean and comfortable with full kitchen and lots of tv channels for when you want to just relax. Would definitely recommend this Inn for anyone looking for clean, reasonably priced accommodation in Osoyoos.

We offer Lakeview Studios, Two Bedroom Suites, as well as 1 Bedroom Deluxe and a 3 Bedroom Deluxe Suites. All of our suites are equipped with full kitchens. Amenities for all ages include playground, tennis & volleyball courts, paddleboards, kayaks and a canoe. Complete smoke free property including our beach!
Terrible experience
Reviewed By Z3412RScottThe woman (Manager) who checked us in was rude and super bitchy to us. Not only upon check in, but any time we asked her a question about anything. Such an unpleasant experience. She made us feel completely unwelcome. We came to relax but felt stressed because of her bad attitude towards us. To the point that on our 4th day we spent the whole day driving around trying to find alternate accommodation, but everything was fully booked due to several golf tournaments. So we had to stay put. To add insult to injury we booked this place as we were told that after the May long weekend we could use their kayak or canoe free of charge and that we just needed to go to the office and book it. We checked in on May 28th and were told they haven't brought them out yet. Every day we checked to see if they were available, but we kept hearing that they hadn't brought them out yet. So frustrating to be told this is part of the amenities only to find out otherwise. Finally on day 5 of our 7 day stay they brought the beach equipment out at 4 pm and we were able to go out for a paddle. On day 6 of our stay we had a lazy morning and went to the office to book the kayak for 5:30pm. We were going .out for lunch and on wine tours in the afternoon. We were told that the Manager (the bitchy one) advised that the kayak couldn't be booked past 4 pm as they didn't have the manpower that day. I said my hubby is here - he is the manpower to bring the kayak in and out of the water. They didn't budge. So we had to rush our lunch out and wine tours to be back by 4 pm. Had we known that for 5 days of our 7 day stay we wouldn't have access to the beach equipment they promised (or the manpower), we would have stayed at a place with a pool and hot tub. We feel that advertising that there is beach equipment to use and then Sandy Beach suites not providing it that it is deceptive marketing. We are not okay with that. This was our first time staying here. Between the bitchy attitude of the Manager and lack of promised beach equipment, this place gets a big thumbs down from us.

Reviewed By Q7714LYboblGreat little motel, clean modern room, short walk to the beach, dog friendly. Next time we pass through Osoyoos we will definitely stay here again. We had a great dinner at the pub (short walk from the motel) on the patio overlooking the lake.

Location is beautiful right on the beach, we found the rooms cozy, clean and everything we needed, full size coffee maker apartment size fridge, kitchen sink hotplate and microwave. Management is working hard to keep it nice and clean it up. In my opinion the 2 star rating is much to low. Would definitely go back and location you just cant beat it! I only had 2 issues, #1 wish dog friendly places were ALL YEAR ROUND we didnt know this when we booked online; they were extremely good about it but it should be more clear, maybe at check out a button can be installed asking if you are traveling with a pet. #2 I enjoy having a drink and smoke OUTSIDE and the only smoking area is way in the back by the garbage cans. For that reason we are starting to do RV camps...I love my furry baby too much to bother with the hassle.

Do NOT Stay here! Dirty, NOISY, In Poor Repair and Iffy Clientelle
Reviewed By Lucy_PortWe tried to stay in a waterfront unit for the winter and were forced to move out 2 months early. Not only is this place old, but it's in bad repair. Our kitchen faucets rattled in place (loose.) Over sink light damaged, unusable. BR taps reversed. Toilet not secured. BR fan rattles. Back door no seal and had to tape shut due to cold. Front door sticks. Lock malfunctions. SO VERY NOISY!!! Floors cracked. MATTRESS OLD AND LUMPY. Dining chairs loose and would have to keep tightening them. TV very small. I had to wash all the dishes before we could use them and clean the whole unit including walls and door jams were sticky with grunge. Not enough parking. We had a back patio area that was unusable due to mud and stench from pets. The other tenants are loud and argue. The police were called a few times for domestics. Not restful and not safe here.

Great little Okanogan gem
Reviewed By yeg1971My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying here for a night. We had planned on camping in Osoyoos for 3 or 4 days but unfortunately no campsites where available. It was getting late in the day so we decided to get a room for the night before continuing on our journey. She had noticed the Boundary earlier so we stopped. When we asked about availability we were told that they were full but that there was 1 room in the back. It was their sons room but he had moved on and now it was for rent. I was a bit apprehensive, but okay. Glad we did. The room was so comfortable. The bed and pillows where unbelievably comfortable. Now we have stayed at many hotels, some much more upscale and expensive then the Boundary. But believe me not one of them has ever match the comfort and hospitality. My wife's comment was "that was the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in and the best sleep I have had in a long time". I most certainly agree with her. And the beautiful flowers and grounds. To the owners I have to say Bravo!! If we're ever through Osoyoos again we will definitely be back for another stay.

It was a trip back to the past, as you climb the stairs to the upper floors the green Astro-turf floor cover you walk on reminds you of your grandparent’s patio in the 80’s. The light fixtures reminded me of my childhood home, I felt completely relaxed and comfortable. This hotel is very carefree, you can walk to the beach with a drink in hand and nobody is going to hassle you. And I have walked the beach- Spanish Fiesta HANDS DOWN has the nicest beach. You can spend your money on an updated holiday inn with nicer curtains if you want but are you really coming to Osoyoos to just sit in your hotel room? We had a beautiful Easter weekend here: excellent water pressure, the fridge kept our drinks ICE cold, and nobody bothered us or asked any questions. The owners are a no baloney married couple who have had this place for decades!! This is a straight up mom & pop, family run hotel; if supporting local businesses is important to you then this is definitely the place. You won’t swipe a key card to get into your room, it’s an old fashioned key but the doors lock all the same. It is not as fancy as some places in town but the price is affordable and it is chalk full of character. Looking forward to our next visit & making more lovely memories!
