Let me start with the good: my salad, a Caesar salad, was quite nice, however my kids pizza was as mediocre as the pizza we eat sometime ago in Vapiano in Vienna, it was bland and the dove had a cardboard texture.The awful: with the exception from the cashier, not a single employee could speak fluent German, let alone English. I really do not understand why they cannot employ people who cannot speak the local language properly or even communicate in English. What made matters worse was that the waitress from the bar upstairs got all funny because she didn't understand I wanted a Beer and even seemed to get angry at me when I pointed at the glass beers as a way to communicate with her. I'm certainly not coming back.

We are traveling with best friends through Germany and Austria on a 12 day road trip that started in Munich for Oktoberfest and ends in Vienna before returning to Boston. We have had some phenomenal meals in every city.Dinner at Marcodiâs in Vienna was the best â and probably the most reasonably priced of all.The restaurant is small â seating for 16 â and there is no printed menu. Marco selects the ingredients daily and then goes to work. Neli, his always smiling wife, will describe each course and they will work with you if you have allergies, etc. One in our party has a gluten allergy, and they were able to easily work around it. Think seafood, fish and a little pasta.All five courses were outstanding â starting with a seafood salad that included melon and mint, and ending with a baked salt covered sea bass that was the best we ever had...and we have had some amazing ones before.Marco comes out to each table after every course and you can see his love for cooking through his smiles when you complement him.Neli will pour you prosecco from the tap (first weâve seen) and offer you a home made honey grappa as a digestive between two of the courses. It was the first grappa that was actually good for the non-grappa lover (which is almost everyone).Marco is an amazing chef and Neli is a friendly gracious hostess, waitress, and ambassador for the restaurant.Canât say enough about it, but if you come to Vienna, forget the wiener schnitzel and go to Marcodiâs.One last comment for our American friends...as of September they now accept credit cards! We spent half the night thinking we were going to have to wash dishes, until the bright one in our group said...âWhy donât you just ask Neli if she accepts credit cards.â

We visited this restaurant on our first night in Vienna. We were staying at the Pension Haus Sanz, and it was a quick walk to the restaurant. The food was delicious, the staff was so welcoming and helpful, and the outdoor patio was a perfect reprieve after a long day of travel! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious pizza or pasta, and a peaceful break after a long day.

Die Pizza hat gut geschmeckt ( aber jeder hat ja da seinen eigenen Vorlieben). Als Abschluss wollten wir noch ein gutes Glas Chianti trinken, aber das hätten wir nicht machen sollen. Der Wein hatte sicher mehr als 20 Grad Trinktemperatur, und der Kellner bestätigte unsere Meinung.Der Wein stand in der Küche und mit einem Karton von der Sonneneinstrahlung geschützt, und die billigste Qualität. Kein weiterer Kommentar.....

Pizza was good and handmade on site which you can see. Nice setting. Let down by slow service- 20mins ignored by waitress after taken main course plate away. No offer of dessert or bill.

Siebenherten is a quiet town.Service with a smile from waiter Charly.I had the Spaghetti Pescatore. I also got some small pieces of Italian bread and good butter.Parking available on street and on side streets.Highly recommend!!

Wir waren im Laufe der Jahre schon einige Male im Casa Mia. Auch an diesem Freitag disponierten wir aufgrund des kurz darauf einsetzenden Regens um. Sonst wären wir in Mauer beim Grausenburger mit seinem wunderschönen groÃen Gastgarten gelandet. Wir fahren immer mit dem Auto her. Es bleibt aber auch die Buslinie 64A in unmittelbarer Nähe stehen.Wir betraten das Lokal und äuÃerten unseren Wunsch nach einem Tisch für zwei Personen plus Wautzi. Wir hatten freie Platzwahl, also entschieden wir uns für einen Tisch an der StraÃe. Als wir uns gerade hinsetzen wollten, merkten wir, dass es doch sehr laut war wenn Autos vorbei fuhren, also setzten wir uns doch hinein. Die Türen und Fenster waren weit offen, es war also nicht stickig.Uns ist aufgefallen, dass es im AuÃenbereich früher Thujen gab, die den Lärm besser abhielten. Jetzt gibt es nur eine unattraktive, graue Betonwand. Leider war an diesem Abend auch im Inneren der Geräuschpegel sehr hoch. Das Lokal füllte sich allmählich und eine 6er-Gruppe Stammgäste unterhielten sich in einer doch deutlich höheren Lautstärke, einer sang sogar ein Geburtstagsständchen. Das Lokal ist jetzt innen komplett rauchfrei, das war vor ca. 1-2 Jahren noch nicht der Fall.Wir bestellten einen Hugo und ein groÃes Soda Zitrone. Es werden auch Bio Himbeer- und naturtrüber Apfelsaft angeboten.Zum Essen entschieden wir uns für Spaghetti Siciliana und für meine Freundin zum wiederholten Male die Parpadelle mit Rinderfiletspitzen in Rotweinsauce sowie einen groÃen Salatteller. Zu den Parpadelle muss man folgendes dazu sagen: Vor einigen Jahren wurde dieses Gericht noch mit viel breiteren Nudeln, also tatsächlich Parpadelle, sowie Artischocken und Champignons angeboten. Jetzt sind die Nudeln grüne dünne Tagliatelle. Damals fragte meine Freundin nach, ob man anstatt den Artischocken und Champignons lieber nur Zucchini haben könne. Das wurde anstandslos gemacht und mittlerweile hat man es in der Karte tatsächlich auf Zucchini geändert. Finde ich toll, das man sich hier Gedanken macht, auf Kundenwünsche eingeht und dies auch in der Speisekarte anbietet. Zusätzlich beherbergt dieses Gericht Unmengen von kleinen, ganzen Pfefferkörnern, das mag halt auch nicht jeder.Möchte man ein Pastagericht bestellen, wird immer gefragt, welche Art von Pasta man haben möchte. Ich entschied mich für klassische Spaghetti. Bis auf die kleinen Kalmare war es fast wie eine Puttanesca-Sauce, da auch schwarze Oliven und Kapern drinnen sind. Die Kapern sind aber im Ganzen. In der Puttanesca werden sie fein zerschnitten. Man wir auch immer gefragt, ob man Parmesan zu der Pasta möchte.Der GroÃe Salatteller wird mit Kürbiskernöl serviert. Es kommen aber noch Balsamicoessig und Olivenöl auf den Tisch. Am Tisch stehen zwei mittelgroÃe Salz- und Pfeffermühlen In den vergangenen Jahren wurden auf Tischkarten immer wieder Cocktails angeboten. Das fehlte dieses Mal, aber ich sah, dass die Bar gut mit Gin, Whisky, etc. gefüllt war.Zum Abschluss wurde noch ein Eisbecher mit 4 verschiedenen Sorten( Marille, Stracciatella, Fiocco und Amarena Kirsch) geordert, alle Eissorten schmeckten vorzüglich.Wir hatten wieder sehr gut gespeist und werden dem Lokal ganz sicher auch weiterhin die Treue halten. Einzig der überdachte Platz im Freien sollte umgestaltet werden. Die Thujen, die früher den Lärm der StraÃe gut abhielten, sind jetzt alle weg. Die graue Betonwand zur StraÃe hin sollte man wenigstens kreativ anstreichen. Der Innenraum ist durchgestylt, auÃen gäbe es groÃes Verbesserungspotenzial.
