Nagarkot is a former Village Development Committee located 32 km east of Kathmandu, Nepal in Bhaktapur District in the Bagmati Zone and as of 2015 part of Nagarkot Municipality. At the time of the 2011 census it had a population of 4571 and had 973 houses in it. At an elevation of 2,195 meters, it is considered one of the most scenic spots in Bhaktapur District. It is known for a sunrise view of the Himalayas including Mount Everest as well as other peaks of the Himalayan range of eastern Nepal. Nagarkot also offers a panoramic view of the Kathmandu Valley. The scenic beauty of the place makes it a very popular hiking route for tourists. It is located approximately 7000 ft (2000 m) above sea level and 28 km from Kathmandu International Airport.

The food here are amazing, every dishes are excellently cooked. We highly recommend the carbonara, mushroom penne, barbecue pizza, french fries and the hot chocolate cake! In addition,every waiter and chief are nice and attentive. The restaurant is located in Hyatt Regency, the environment is quiet and secluded. Lastly, If you concern about the price, it wonât be a problem. Price are very reasonable. Hence, our family would highly recommend you to come here for dining, no matter you stay in Hyatt Regency or not, you will definitely enjoy the amazing dinning experience! When you are in Bhaktapur and looking to try some newari cuisine, check out the newari thali with beaten rice aka baji. Newars are the indigenous people of Kathmandu. There is an option of chicken or buffalo. It has a nice garden outdoor seating area. Order their lassi for drinks. At the end of the meal they served us rice wine on the house thank you for the yummy food, will definitely return when we are back to Bhaktapur. Also dont forget to try the juju dhau made locally in bhaktapur a few min away from the restaurant.

Despite the great location I thought this place was pretty average. The lemon water is the least refreshing drink and it's so sour and not tasty. Thank you for the writing. The coffee was good and served well with water and a sweet for a remarkably low price. This place sits in Dattatreya Square where there is a temple of the same name. The shop has clean toilets.

Staying in Vajra-Guesthouse we spent a lot of time in the coffe-bar. Freshly prepared coffee, made with passion and the love for the taste of coffe-specialities this is a pearl within Bakhtapur . We loved the cappucino in combination with chocolate-brownie after returning from Sagarmatha-National-Park. If you are around sit down in front of the guest house, enjoy your favourite coffee and a view on the temple - or have it served on the roof-top of the hotel.

When we came to the place it was all dark because of the powercuts. But we was met by the very friendly staff who fast lid the candlelight and made it very cosy. We both chose spaghetti and were very positively surprised. The pasta was very good and cooked al dente and with a delicious tomatosauce. In theese times in Nepal with powercuts, fuel and gas shortage and still rebuilding after the terrible earthquake you have to expect that not everything work completely. But this place really does the job! Plus we got a free ride home on a motorbike. Thank you so much.Thank you so much for coming to dinner at "NepalPlanet" La Bella Nepali Restaurant. Amrit, Anil and all the staff are happy to have you satisfied.I take this opportunity to recommend to all, in this difficult period in Nepal, to book in advance if possible. Like many people, we went her as part of a helicopter trip over the Everest Massif. The location is stunning, and breakfast was freshly cooked, and good, without being special. Then things unwound rather. We were presented with a bill, despite having paid in advance as part of our trip. The waiter went off and returned with his mate, who insisted we would have to pay, and reclaim it from our travel agent. We eventually persuaded him to call our agent himself. While he was on the phone, a third member of staff turned up, and told them (and us) that everything was fine, and no further payment was needed. Left a sour taste in the mouth. I needed to use the toilet. Although it is attached to a 4 star hotel, the cafe customers have no access to those facilities, and are instead directed to an unseated and rather primitive block outside the front door. From the smell of the place it had not been cleaned for a few months. At £30 per head for breakfast, I did expect better.
