Wonderful, Relaxing, Very German
Reviewed By Linda KOur extended family (five adults) had a wonderful 2 night stay at Hotel Hirsch and as Americans were glad to have a "German immersion" experience. Guests, hosts, food and welcome all were excellent. We would return gladly!

Not a good experience
Reviewed By microndesignI stayed here for 3 nights recently. The location is very convenient to Lossburg. Parking spaces were difficult to find, I ended up parking on a footpath a short walk from the hotel, which is a worry with a hire car. The receptionist was very welcoming and the reception is located in a very nice cafe area. The room was OK but the bed was very uncomfortable. The staff in the restaurant were poor to the say the very least. The first night I had to use google translate to order my food which came quickly and was quite tasty. The second night I was handed an English menu but the delays were ridiculous. I ordered desert which had not arrived nearly 40 minutes later so I gave up and left. It seems to me to be understaffed considering the size of the restaurant and number of guests. The breakfast was excellent and included a pot of fresh coffee delivered to the table.

Reviewed By Shimnik(+) A bottle of mineral water is for free. Breakfast is good but would not call it excellent. The parking is for free. The choice in the restaurant is very limited but food is somehow ok. (-) I guess that hotel was good 20 years ago and now need a bit of renovation. The bed is small but comfy. The internet connection was so slow that it is better to say that the hotel does not have wi fi (in all areas!) I thought that every hotel should have a tooth brash in case if one guest would need one. Of course, they did not have anything and did not even say that they have a pharmacy not far away. It seems that the personnel does not care much about the guests.

Perfect family hotel in the heart of the black forest
Reviewed By frenchycocoGreat family hotel where you will feel like home with fun activities for the family: trampoline, bowling, footy. Breakfast is very rich and dinners are well served with diverse menu options. We had a great 5 nights stay and highly recommend it.

Just near the wilderness... :)
Reviewed By volanszkiWe wanted to be far away from everything and from everyone and here we got that :) From the balcony the view to the wilderness is beautiful, you can see all around the forest. The kitchen is open from 18:00 until 20:00 in theory, but other people were served after 8 PM also, so probably it is not too strict. The dinner was excellent and we got a really great portion! Next day the breakfast was also really fine, the home made bread is fantastic! Please do not forget to taste the Weizen (the unfiltered one), you will not be disappointed :) Our room was good, nothing fancy, but we got everything what we wanted. The bed linen could be more soft and some low frequency humming came from somewhere within the building, but it was easy to ignore. Overall it is great and keep it mind, this is not an expensive place and you get a lot for your money here! Probably we will come back in the future, so I can recommend this place! Ohh and do not expect much phone reception in the area, so say goodbye to your phone! but the Wifi is working perfectly, so you will survive! :)

Reviewed By Albert MQualité-prix Excellent. Personnel sympa. Chambre confortable, Spa propre et accessible. Rien à dire Sauf bémol est la wifi: payante et couverture médiocre. Very nice Spa-Hotel. We enjoyed the lodging, the catering and the spa all 11 of us. Friendly and helpful hotel staff. We will come back but we are expecting better Wifi Herr Kessler .

Reviewed By Voyage776317Das Hotel ähnelt immer noch einer Jugendherberge! Total veraltert; aber pick sauber ! Das Restaurant kann man nicht empfehlen. Lage des Hotels für nicht mobilisierte sehr ungünstig; keine passende Busverbindung. Frühstück sehr gut, viel Auswahl. Es wurde immer nach gebracht ! Sternebewertung bei "5" = 3,5 ! Trotz allem ist das Hotel nicht zu empfehlen !
