Situated in the beautiful shetland Isles, Shetland Jewellery (Originally known as Shetland Silvercraft) was founded by Jack Rae in 1953. Today Shetland Jewellery is run by Jack Rae's son Kenneth Rae and is situated next to the beautiful and tranquil Hellister Loch in Weisdale, Shetland. Each piece is hand crafted in our own workshop in the Shetland Isles and carries a lifetime guarantee. We offer pieces in silver, gold and platinum. We also have a bespoke design service and can offer special comissions for gifts, engagements and weddings, or just because. We stock a range of Shetland crafts along with having a coffee machine and toilet facility.

Nicola started working for the business at the age of 14 before leaving to study for a degree in Business Management. It was not until she met Magnus - her now husband - that they strived to make Shetlands capital more vibrant, alive and fun. The Shetland Fudge Company has now developed into a premium bespoke chocolate company with all their fudge, truffles, tablet, preserves and` gourmet Mallow being made by hand. They focus on using the finest ingredients, local produce wherever possible, and create by hand their own additive-free recipes. The continual enthusiasm from the owners has led to new and exciting services, including chocolate workshops, educational trips and Birthday parties. The core focus of the business is the pride and passion that goes into everything they do, from training staff and displaying creations, to making irresistible goodies.

The Shetland Tweed Company specialises in limited edition cloths from the isles, created using the wool of native sheep. Visitors can see the cloth being made, try weaving and browse unique gifts from the studio.
