Great location, but requires some renovations
Reviewed By Ewa GI am not sure how to review this one. I chose it because of the location ( and it was on point), the pool ( which was very nice) and the great reviews. And honestly, I was a bit surprised why the hotel god such great reviews. I was really disappointed with the studio. First of all, it was a high level studio with great view, but the view was partially obstructed by two buildings, so when I was sitting on a balcony, I mostly saw the roofs. Other than that, the veiw was stunning, though. The balcony was big and had a comfy chairs, but since the water from the A/C was flowing directly onto the floor, a few times I almost slipped and fell. The room itself was dated. Some of the things theoretically worked, but you could see they are barely hanging on. Examples- the toilet seat probably remembers the 80's, the shower handle was covered in rust, A/C was ancient and was very loud, sometimes made buzing soungs and wasn't extremely effective. It made it impossible to use during the night, but sleeping with the windows open did not cool the room enough. It seems like the only new items in the room were the fridge ( great, big one with freezer) and TV ( which I never use). The kitchenette was equipped enough for me. The bed was very uncomfortable - mattress was very bouncy and I could feel every seam on it, and the pillows were hard. The management was polite. The pool was really nice, with ideal water temperature and clean, although you could see that some elements on the sundeck were also dated. The complex has a lot of plants in pots and tiny cute decorative details, and it was really nice to look at. Altogether, it was quite ok but not as good as I have expected. But then, I do not have much comparison to other hotels in the area, perhaps it is quite standard and should not be compared to hotels in , for example, Cyclades.

Reviewed By Giannis PGreat value for money!! Very reasonable price for a 3day stay. Room was very clean, plenty of room for parking on the street, quiet neighborhood. Close to main town of Poros (15min on foot) and very helpful and hospitable people!! Highly recommended!!

BEST HOST & ACCOMMODATION ON POROS
Reviewed By catja cI stayed at Lions for 1 week and enyoed it a lot! The room was nice with the beautiful view of the sea, the pool was big and in general there was a good vibe! But what made my stay at Lions so great was the owner Eva! She is so warmhearted and carrying! She brought us couple of times some exotic local sweets, sandwiches and even homemmade tee and pastry. She really gave 100% and was always very helpful with providing tourist information. We wish you all the best, dear Eva! Your Katrina, Ina, Yana and Nadja

Bello ed economico
Reviewed By cristiano bSemplice hotel ma pulito e con uno splendido panorama... dalla nostra camera si vede il sorgere del sole ed oltre a pulire la camera e rifare il letto hanno sistemato i vestiti piegandoli e apprendendo le camicie... colazione semplice ti chiedono cosa vuoi se caffè o cappuccino ti portano pane e marmellata ed un succo... ma per 45 euro in 2 al giorno direi ottimo! Tenete presente che essendo a sud dell'isola ci vuole almeno 1 ora di strada per le spiagge più belle...

Reviewed By NorthStar03311833288Stove tops upon entrance are very small and against the corner not a great layout for a kitchen area sink is bigger that the stove. No pots,pans,cups for tea or coffee or cuttlery and no dishwashing liquid either. Large bin in there. Ants in the room i suggest they spray rooms each day and the big bin in the rooms be moved into the hallway outside The bathroom is too small a very tight squeezw, we were there for a week and towels had only been changed once quite disgusting for the money we were charged. The bedroom was spacious for two there is a small table and two chairs,a cupboard for your clothes,a hairdryer that didnt work and mirror, beds are old could do with a makeover but at least the mattresses were comfy, aircon is old and should be replaced the room was hot . There is also a small TV in the room too. The balcony is spacious includes table and chairs but there were ants everywhere you couldn't sit and enjoy the balcony at all. If your travelling by car best you re-think it as there are very little car spaces. We had to walk to the kolones restaurant 5 mins walk each time where we were told to park and sometimes you couldnt find parking there either. Person overlooking the place could do with some manners. She wouldn't give us the going rate unless we paid in cash so we ended up paying even more wasn't impressed at all. I thought the pool was theirs but it turns out it wasn't but the owner of the pool area allowed us to swim there provided we either paid for the sunlounge or bought something from the bar. Two supermarkets less than a minutes walk,motorbike or scooter rentals less than a minutes walk ,souvenir shop a minutes walk,delicious crepes a minutes walk and the beach ,cafes,restaurants only a 5 minute walk not even.

Great place to stay when you visit Poros

It's a gorgeous (and immaculate) set of apartments! The island is great, the food on offer is great quality, reasonably priced and probably the best we had in the area. Would recommend to any type of traveller.

Another beautiful holiday at Eleonas
Reviewed By ruth lWe returned to Eleonas after 8 years (not an intentional break but family reasons and then Covid), we had long wanted to return and everything was just as remembered. The apartment is so spacious and immaculate, the balcony views out to the sea are spectacular; perfect. Ellie and her team were as stylish and welcoming as ever. Frankly, we will never leave it so long again to return and we are not the only ones, many of the fellow guests return year after year because it is such a relaxing place to be, so chic and so peaceful...and the pool and gardens are beautiful. We are already plotting our return!!
