Montreal, c’est si bon! This French-speaking city is considered the cultural capital of Canada, and is a cosmopolitan celebration of Québécois style. A horse-drawn carriage ride around the cobblestone streets and grand buildings of Vieux-Montréal will give you a taste of European flavor. The Basilique Notre-Dame is a confection of stained glass, and the Plateau Mont-Royal district will delight you with its quaint boutiques and cafés. Dig in to a massive plate of poutine to fuel up for a tour of the epic Olympic Park.

Friendly staff, great drinks, and excellent comedians. Been there several times this summer. It's a nice way to spend an evening. Not too expensive 5-20$ depending on the night. Catch an early show if you need to get to bed early. Get your tickets on-line and get free popcorn at the show. I love the place.

Cinema Cineplex Forum

I really like the location of this cinema. It is in the Forum which is a great start to an enjoyable experience. It is also located across the Street from the Alexis Nihon complex which has 3 levels of all sorts of stores and restos. Fast food outlets like A & W, Tim Hortons, McDonalds are all right there for some nourishment before or after a movie. Hard to beat the food court as well for a bite to eat. All in all one of my favourite locations to view a movie. just viewed a Star is Born and would highly recommend the film.

Located near the Guy-Concordia station on the Green Line, the CCA is a beautifully designed tribute to architecture, blending the old (the 1874 Shaughnessy House) with new construction. In addition to viewing their current exhibits, be sure to also visit the Shaughnessy House, entering from the CCA. Among the highlights are wonderful mahagony-paneled rooms, a conservatory, and molded plaster ceiling details. IMPORTANT NOTE: the entrance is located at the rear of the building, next to a green, and off Rue Baile. The area is fenced but enter one of the gates and head toward a large mural. There is no entrance from Shaughnessy House on Boulevard Rene-Levesque.

For Hockey fans or entertainment fans, the old Montreal Forum, creatively restored into a courtyard mall, is easy to get to from Atwater station and continues to offer something to do for locals and visitors alike. It looks like there's even room for more businesses in there, so hopefully it can fill more spots if foot traffic demands it. On the third floor, there's a multi-purpose entertainment bar with various games, bowling, ping pong, pool etc... Additionally there's The Comedy Nest, a must-see for stand-up comedy fans. And if you've finished watching a movie at the Cineplex on the ground floor, you can always walk across the street to yet another indoor mall.
